The School Prince

"Lonely Prince..."

"It finally Friday!! I can wait 'till the weekend!!", Rose was really excited.

"You are so cheerful!", I said with a small giggle.

"I know... Oh!! Look it's Zero!!", I turn and saw Zero walking slowly with both his hand in his pocket. He looked at us and... Smile?!? He didn't smirk or say "Morning Izayoi-Hime", or anything dumb. He seems different.... What's up with him??

"Morning, Zero!!", Rose greeted. But Zero simply nod and left to school. I was dumbfounded... He didn't even look at me or talk to me or even tease me!! I mean.. I don't really care!! Right..??

"Everyone!! We are going to do a little partner project. It's not hard and it doesn't take long. All you have to do is look at your seat partner's hand and draw the finger print they have as best as you can, got it??", Mrs.Lily instructed.

"Why..?!?", one students whine.

"We will see how many different fingerprints are in this class, Got it?!?", Mrs.Lily said.

"Got it!!", the students reply. And everyone started the little project. I turn to Zero but he was just looking down at his desk.

"Uhh.. Zero! Show me your hand!", I said.

"... No..", he said.

"Ehh?? We have to finish this project!! And I'm not bringing my grade down because of you!", I shout.

"I said no", he repeated.

"Give-me-your-hand!!"

"No!"

"Zero!"

"I SAID NO!!", He yell, and the room went quiet. Zero then ran out the class.

"Sakurai, bring him back please.....", Mrs.Lily said and I nod in an annoyance. I went down stairs and looked through the hallways. But I couldn't find Zero so I went outside, and there I saw him sitting on the bench.

His orange-blonde hair swaying by the wind, and his deep blue eyes reflecting the sunlight. But his eyes were not happy, flirty or cocky... They were depressed, sad, and Lonely. He looked lost, like he didn't know where he was going.

"Zero!", I walked over to him, I look at him but he turn away avoiding eye contact.

"What do you want??", he ask.

"Geez!! Quit being such a baby and go back to class we have a project to finish!!", I yell.

"No!!", he yell. Then I looked down at him and saw he was hiding his hands in his pocket. I was curious and try to get a hold of his hand but Zero jumped and left a distance from me.

"What do you think you're doing?!?", he yell.

"Show me your hand"

"No!"

Show me!!"

"I said no!!"

"Zero!! Look this is the first and last time I am going to be worry about you!! So show me your hand!!", I yell. After a few second I cover my mouth and felt embarrassed for what I just said. I said I was worry about him!?! Ugh!!!

"......", Zero didn't respond.

"So... are you going to show me or not??"

"I guess...", Zero took out his hand from his pocket revealing bruises, cuts, and bandages.

"W-What happen...??", I ask.

"Nothing..", he turn away pouting.

"This doesn't look like nothing...", I said. Yea, I was worry because it reminded me of my mother and how they are both fighting the pain.

"Come on! Let's go to the nurse! We have to change the bandages!", I said. I took him hand gently as possible and drag him to the nurse.

"Geez!! You're such a troublesome Prince!!", I scold him. Zero was sitting on the nurse bed, while I was changing the bandages.

"Sorry..."

"So...? What happen??", I ask.

"Nothing..."

"Stop lying!! Are you telling me all this is nothing?!?", I shout.

"SHUT UP!! YOU WOULDN'T GIVE A DAMN THING EVEN I TOLD YOU!!", Zero shout and it made me jump. There was a long silent but I just kept changing his bandages. After I was done I let go of his hand.

Then I heard the bell ring and students voices chatting and yelling across the hallway.

"Zero.... I don't know what happened to you... But I am going to find out!", I said.

"Tsk! Even if you did find out what are you doing to do about it??"

"... I don't know..."

"I thought so"

"Shut up!! I am going to find out... And help you!!", I shout and left to my class. I wanna help anyone that needs help, that what my mother would want me to do. Zero... I hate you... But if you need help..I'll help.

"Izayoi!!", I heard my name call and I turn around. It was Yuta the boy I met at the back of the school yesterday.

"Yuta! Good to see you again!!", I smiled.

"Hehe! Wanna walk home together??", he ask, and I nod.

"Where you friend??", he ask.

"You mean Rose?? She has a clu-"

"No, No that guy... Uhh... Ze... Zero!! Yea that guy!!", Yuta said.

"Ohh... He is at the nurse room. He felt a little dizzy and didn't feel too good so his family are going to come get him", I lied.

"Ehh..?? Are you sure?", Yuta ask giving me a confused face.

"Wh.. What do you mean??"

"Well.. I heard rumors that Zero don't get along with his family and has a hard time at home. He would sometime     sleepover at his friend house. But I'm not sure if it's true... Hehehe! It's just a rumor.", Yuta explain.

"Yuta.. Is Zero really all cocky, flirty and stuff??", I ask. I was just curious.

"No"

"E-Ehh?"

"Zero is actually really nice, he just like teasing and paying around. He is always helping others if they need it, I talk to him a couple of times and I think his pretty cool".

You're kidding me... Even Yuta thinks Zero is not bad. Am I the only one that thinks that. Is it because I don't know Zero very well...?? Is he in pain?? Or is he just lonely...

EHH?!?!? What is happening?!? Why am I suddenly worry about Zero?!? I hate him!!! This is weird!!! NO WAY!!!
