i thought he wanted silicone plastic for skin
i thought he wanted a face plastered in colorful paint
i thought he wanted a girl who wore daisy dukes
and played dumb
and was addicted to her phone
and laughed at everything that came out of his mouthbut he didn't
and i was not that girl
emphasis on was
now i am
and unintentionally
i played him
with a fakery persona
and little did i know
that i pushed him away
