Is This A Dream? Sidemen Fanfic *Short Story*

Chapter 20

Amy's POV

"I'm so happy it was just a dream" I said, smiling at the guys. "Oh is it?" Simon said causing me to look up.
He then started to do the air guitar, which caused me and the rest of the guys to laugh.

"Ok, well I'm gonna go and record a video now. So I'll see you guys later" Simon said as he walked out of the kitchen.
A thought then sprung to mind, as I watched Simon walk out. He just told me that he would never hurt anyone the way he did in my dream and he didn't really have a bad reaction when I said that he was my boyfriend.
Could this be the right moment to tell him how I feel?

I then got up from my seat "I'm gonna go think of some new video ideas" I told the guys before walking out of the kitchen.
I began to walk upstairs and saw Simon just about to walk into his room.

"Simon" I called out, causing him to turn around. "Hey Amy" he said smiling at me.
"Can I ask you something?" I asked him, feeling slightly nervous.
"Of course you can" he replied.
"Did you find it weird that I dreamt about us being together?" I asked. "Honestly, no I didn't. It surprised me, because I was expecting it but I don't think it's weird at all" he said.

"Ok that's good, because I would hate for there to be any awkwardness between us" I told him. "Nah, there isn't don't worry" he said smiling at me.
We then stood in silence for a second before I said my next words.
"Look Simon, there's something I need to tell you" I said, nervously.

"What is it?" He asked me, looking at me. My heart began to race as I took in a deep breath.
"I like you Simon and I have done for a while now. I was too scared to tell you before but my dream made me realise how much I do like you. Of course it felt real to me and I thought you actually cheated on me, so I wasn't sure how I felt about you. But now I know that it was just a dream, I know I have nothing to worry about" I told Simon.

Simon continued to look at me, but didn't say anything. Oh god, I've messed up. He doesn't feel the same way, I've made it awkward.

"Amy, I feel the same way" Simon said. My soon grew with shock, as I looked up at Simon who was smiling at me.
"Y-you do?" I asked him, trying to contain my excitement.
"Yes, I was always scared to say anything to you in case you didn't feel the same way" Simon told me.
"That's why I never said anything to you. But I'm glad we've told each other now, I'm so happy" I said smiling at Simon.

"Me too. So... Do you wanna maybe go out tonight? Simon asked me nervously. "Are you asking me out on a date?" I said giggling at him.
"Maybe I am" he said, winking at me.
"Well I would love to go out with you tonight" I replied smiling at him. "Perfect" he replied.
"Looks like I won't be single anymore" he said winking at me again.

"Glad I could change that" I said as Simon pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead. I'm so happy, Simon actually likes me back. This has made this whole experience worth while, luckily Simon would never act like he did in the dream, in real life.
I just know he'll be a great, caring and honest boyfriend and I can't wait to go out with tonight.

Looks like I don't need my dreams to make me happy.

We have to come to the end of my short story. I hope you all enjoyed reading it, since this was based off a dream I had. I'm sorry if this last chapter isn't well written, I'm so tired from college.
