The Apocalypse- A story of Eight

Chapter 1- Just the beginning

~10 hours before being abandoned~

-Ocean's POV-

 "Damn man the sun is so hot today."I said while staring at the grey gravel road.

"Hey key got any water with you Im all out!"I yelled.

"Man Ocean when are going to learn to conserve your resources for once." she growled.

 She always got like that, can't help it though that is just who she is. As she handed me the water I softly nudged her side just to see if I'd get a new reaction out of her, But as usual she just chased me around in circles until the group leader told us to stop horse playing. But something seemed off about him today. When he told us to stop normally he'll stare at us with a death glare, but instead he looked back with a smirk on his face. Something was wrong, very wrong.

- MAGICAL TIME SKIP-

~7 hours before being abandoned~

After a few hours of more walking the captain told us that we were going to have to go through the forest for a short cut. I was confused. We've never gone through these parts of the forest  for a short cut EVER.

As we walk through the forest I could feel the uneasy air touched me, it was warm and sticky and my legs started shaking and I didn't realize until Rider took notice.

"Hey are you feeling ok Ocean?"

"W-what are you talking about I-im fine"I said hoping he wouldn't notice that I was lying.

"hmm? Is that so, then why are your legs shaking?"

"S-stop screwing around im fine.." I said in anger.

"Ok then"

Then he smirked and laughed a little, he knew there was something was wrong 'cause the minute he turned around and said with a stern voice"Somethings strange is that why your shaking?" He knew" y-ya it is."

"HEY YOU TWO STOP FUCKING AROUND" I heard as I turned to the left to see that it was the captain. Damn did he look pissed. But as I was about to say something he slapped me so hard it left a mark "If you slack of again i'll not hesitate to slap you, got that you wench?"I nodded. I swear I was about to ball my eyes out right there and now but I kept it in me because I knew the minute I'd cry he'd slap me  again. When he walked back to lead the group  I almost collapsed to the ground but Rider caught my fall. "Are you ok? he slapped you pretty hard." Before I even said anything a single tear fell down my cheek. It was warm but it was quickly rubbed of my face. I looked to see that Rider was looking down at me and that his hand was on my face." Hey Ocean you can cry all you want when were back at camp I won't stop you, OK?" I freaked out "O-ok..." Damn I swear my face was probably red.

~Rider's POV~

Fuck, Man somethings wrong the captain, he is being a total bitch! Who even hurts girls in the first place?! ITS JUST WRONG!

Wait...

Don't tell me captains planing on.....

"HEY RIDER HURRY UP!"

Oh its just Ocean...

"OK, IM COMING"I yelled back!"

"I'll talk with the others when I have the chance." I told myself as I ran to Ocean.

~3rd Person View~

As the eight walked farther and father into the forest only two people knew what was really going on here....

Rider and Ocean....
