They say they understand but they don't
They never will.
When I spill my secrets

I want to scream.
Tell them 'they don't'
'You'll never fully understand'
It repeats in my mind

It's all I hear
Two words I can't stand
'I understand'
Even if they try
They won't
Well, you know what?
I'm done.
It's the only two words they know how to say

So today I told a friend of mine what I've been feeling lately and all they kept saying was 'I understand' and I pissed me off because that's all they said I know for sure they don't freakin understand.
