Chapter 12

Dipper pov: I helped Candy up as the bell rang and everyone left for class. "Are you ok candy? Why did pacifica do that?" She shrugged. "I don't know. All I did was tell her to stop drawing and stalking you." Before I could question her further I heard shouts coming from outside. I ran towards the exit of the cafeteria to see people and teachers rushing out to the pool outside. I grabbed Mabel who was among the crowd. "What's going on?" I asked her. She looked at me her eyes bugged out. "ITS PACIFICA!" She yelled before pulling me out the door. We ran outside to the pool to see the diving boards. At the very hugest of 12 feet was Pacifica. She was stood on top of the highest one except she wasn't facing the water...she was facing the concrete. She was going to jump 12 feet in the air and down to the hard concrete. "PACIFICA NORTHWEST GET DOWN FROM THERE!" Yelled a teacher but she shook her head. Students took out phones for videos and pictures. "Dipper I'm worried about her!" Mabel said. She wouldn't dare.
Pacifica cleared her throat and the chatter died. "I spent a year of my life with you all. Paying my way to the top. And when my parents abandoned me I was left with nothing. Barley having enough to eat and drink. And on top of that I delt with having no friends and bullies. Do you know what it's like to walk down a hallway being judged and pushed around and told your a nothing and having no power to do anything to stop it? HUH? NO? AWNSER ME! Of course you dont! Then shit really hit the fan when I met perfect little Dipper pines. The Fuck boy of this town. He made me feel wanted bit what happened? Oh that's right he kissed me! He kissed me then ignored me for a month!" Candy, mabel and other students turned to me and I felt my face turn red. "He didn't do anything but watch me being tortured and tormented!" A teacher took a step forward and so did pacifica. "MOVE AGAIN AND I'LL JUMP!" The teacher stopped and took a step back. "I felt alone again. My grades the one identify I made were slipping and today I lost the best thing in the world. My sketch pad. My ticket to an art scholar ship. My ticket to college fown the train because of a petty Jelous girlfriend. So what's the point of living huh? GIVE ME A GOD DAMN REASON!" I felt my heart snap in too seeing the damage I caused to Pacifica. I leaned down to Mabel. "I'll district her and you sneak up behind to grab her ok?" She nodded before disappearing in the crowd. I took a step forward. "I-im sorry Pacifica."
"No your not."
"Yes! I didn't know I hurt you!"
"How can you not know? You abandoned me because of a kiss that was a mistake." I sighed.
"I didn't want to acknowledge my feelings for you! I thought they would pass if we stopped talking. I didn't want to hurt Candy but...I didn't realize I was hurting you by doing that. I'm so sorry." I glanced to see Mabel slowly climbing the latter trying not to make a sound.
"Si what are you saying Dipper?"
"I like you. I thought it was wrong when people told me about how mean you were and how cool candy was. But it seems kind of flipped." Mabel was on the board now. "This changes nothing. Because Dipper pines I hate you." Then Pacifica jumped. Mabel lunged out knocking Stood into the water instead as she clutched her. The two fell with a splash as teachers rushed to get them.
