It was a lazy Friday night when your friend, AJ, texted you and said, "Hey, (Y/N), I just got invited to this awesome party. I was told I could bring another person. Wanna come?"
You texted her back saying, "Who's party is it?"
"Uh, one of Phil's friends, I think." She had been dating AmazingPhil for a few months now. She loved him a lot. You texted her back. "Well, OK, I'll go. I guess." She surprised you by texting back only a minute later. "Awesome! It starts at seven. Be ready at six thirty. I'll come pick you up." "OK. See you then." You went to get ready for the party. You decided to just wear a light blue dress and your hair up in pigtails. It was six thirty already. 'Wow,' you thought. 'Time flies.' Almost immediately after you thought that, your doorbell rang. You opened the door. AJ was dressed in her black dress with English flag high tops and her cat whiskers necklace. "Wow," you said. "You look cool." "Thanks." She spun in a little circle. "OK, let's go!" You closed and locked your door just as she grabbed your hand and pulled you to the car. "Well someone's excited." You said, looking at her. "No. Really? You don't say." She said. She was always this sarcastic. You just rolled your eyes as you both got in the car.
Once you both got to the house where the party was located, Dan and Phil were both standing outside, waiting for you. AJ climbed out of the car, ran up and hugged Phil. Dan waved at you and you waved back, slightly blushing. He came up to you and started talking about the latest blog on tumblr. After a few minutes, AJ asked, "So, who's party is this, guys?" Phil answered, "It's SprinkleOfGlitter's party." AJ jumped up and down. "Louise? I love her!" She ran inside. Phil followed. You looked inside. You didn't see anyone you recognized. You sighed. "Jeez." Dan looked at you. "What is it?" "Oh, I just, don't really know anyone here." You looked at the ground. "Oh. I'm kind of shy sometimes too. Especially at parties." He said. You both just stood there in a bit of an awkward silence. "Right, well we should go inside." Dan said. You took a deep breath. "OK."
You both walk in and there are people everywhere. Most of them you don't really know. So you just sit in a corner, watching Dan as he catches up with everyone. You pulled out your phone and pulled up tumblr. After a few hours, there were even more people there and you couldn't find AJ, Phil, Dan, or even Louise. You started feeling a bit scared. You curled up in a corner behind a chair and tried to calm down. You saw that someone was looking over the back of the chair. You looked up to see Dan's concerned face. "You OK back there?" You smile, relieved to see someone you recognized. "I'm better now." He smiles. He climbs behind behind the chair to sit with you. He looks at you and sighs. "(Y/N), there's something I need to tell you." You looked at him. "What is it, Dan?" "Well, uh, I, uh, might have a, uh, crush on you." He hides his blushing face. You gasp, surprised. "Really?" "Yes. I know it's stupid, but..." He trails off. You scoot closer to him. "It's not dumb, Dan." You kiss his cheek and he blushes even more red. He hugs you tightly and for the rest of the party, you two just sit and talk. You fall asleep after awhile of cuddling and after the party he takes you back to his house where he falls asleep listening to your gentle breathing.
