Sasha~

I was standing in Ymir's home, waiting for Connie to come. I mean, there is a such thing as fashionably late, but that passed a half hour ago. Two hours late? Come on!

"Still waiting for Connie?" Krista asked, smiling a little bit as her eyes sparkled.

"Yeah. I thought that the girl was the one who was supposed to take the most time," I chuckled, looking back over at the door in case I had missed him.

"Don't worry, he's coming. I saw him on my way over here earlier. He said that he needed to stop by the store real fast, and that he'd be here sooner or later," Krista smiled.

"Thank you Krista!" I smiled, taking Krista into my arms. That lasted a good five seconds, before I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry Ymir, I wasn't trying t-"

"Actually, that's not why I'm trying to talk to you," that voice. I looked up to see none other than Jean Kirstchein. I felt myself blushing, before I let go of Krista.

"H-Hi Jean..." I said, my eyes growing big and my face growing a deeper red.

"Hey Sasha... Someone told me that you liked me," he said, cornering me with his hands on either side of me. I looked up to see Jean's eyes staring into mine, which made me even more of a mess.

"J-Jean..." I felt a weird feeling in my stomach as I continued standing, my vision blurring around me and the only sight I saw was him: Jean.

"Sasha~" Before I knew it, his lips were coming closer, about to make contact with mine until something rolled onto my foot, stealing mine and Jean's attention.

"A... Potato?" I knelt down and grabbed it, shifting my attention up to the stunned Connie who stood there mouth agape with an opened, upside down bag of potatoes which contents now littered the floor, "Connie?"

"J-Jean... I... I thought you said-"

"Yeah, yeah. I changed my mind, I can't have you getting all of the girls now can I, Connie? Especially if this girl likes me. Who would fall for a bald weirdo like you anyway?" Jean laughed.

"I don't know, who in their right mind would fall for a horse face like you anyways? That practical joke sure did work on him, huh Connie? Like any girl would like him!" I laughed, slapping my knees to make it look believable.

Connie caught on, smiling at Jean, "Sorry buddy, but no girl in their right minds would fall for a horse. That is, unless they want to get charged with Beastiality."

I laughed, high-fiving Connie as I giggled at Jean once more. I wasn't stupid, and I wasn't going to just sit there and watch my best friend get messed with by a horse.

"Whatever..." Jean growled, turning around, "Congrats, Baldie. You won the girl, but that doesn't mean that she'd ever actually like you," then he walked away.

Like him? What does Jean mean by that...?
