Chapter 8

Alec POV
    Me and Clary got dressed and headed down. By the time we finished eating, it was 11 o' clock. I was now currently sitting in the couch with Clary beside me, Izzy and Simon in the loveseat. " What are we gonna do today?" asked Clary, to no one in particular. " Donno. Clary. Why dont you play the piano and sing some for Alec? Me and Simon are going to his home. Becca is back." Izzy said. I turned to Clary. " You play the piano?" i asked her, surprised. " Yeah, i kinda." she said. " Bullshit. She plays amazingly. But she hasnt played since......" Izzy trailed off. She looked worryingly at Clary. " Izzy. Its okay. I havent played it for long. But i think i still remember. And ive moved on Izzy. Thats the past. It doesnt have a place in the present." she said. " O..kay. Ill leave you two alone now. We gotta go. Bye Alec. Clare. Take care." Izzy said and dropped a kiss on Clary's forehead. " I will Iz." Clary said. " You better be. bye." she said and went. I turned to look at Clary and was about to ask what happened when she cuts me off. " Alec. I know you are asking why Izzy said those stuff. It was some issues of my past. Ill tell you all about it when the right time comes. If it comes." she said and got up. " Come on. You dont know where the piano room is, do you?" she said. I shook my head. " Come on, Ill take you there." she said.

Clary POV
When Izzy said about the past, dread filled me. What if Alec too does that? I cant survive that. I already suffered a lot. I have so much in mind. I went to the music room with Alec trailing behind me. I went to the music room and took in the familiar sent. I walked over to the center where the giant piano is. I took the covers and ran my fingers through the keys. I sat on the bench and took a deep breath. Then, i started....

I sang the full song with one image in my mind. I shook off that. I need a distraction. I gasped when I felt a hand on top my hand. I turned to see Alec looking sad. " Im sorry." he said and withdrew his hand. I took his hand back and smiled. " No. Its okay. I was just deep in thought." i said. He smiles that smile which makes me crazy. I sighed. " Whats wrong.." i cut him off. With my lips. " mmmm" he moaned. After a while he broke it off. I whimpered. " Clary. We have to stop. I cant control myself if  we went that far." he said. He's right. I cant let that happen now. " You're right. " i said. He nodded. " Clary. I...You were Amazing. In the piano and the song. It was amazing." he said. I smiled a Big smile. " So, Clary Fray, would you do the honour of  doing a single with me???" he asked. I cant believe this. " Really?" i squeaked. " Yeah. Of course." he said. I screamed and hugged him." Yes.yes." i said. He chuckled at my behaviour. I yanwed. Alec laughed, again. " Whats so funny?" i asked him annoyed. " You slept this long and still you are sleepy." he said, amused. " I am not fully awake now. And no. Its because of the  piano. Always makes me sleepy." i said, matter of fact. " As you say, babe." he said.  " So, what now?" i asked. " Donno."he said. " Oh oh oh. I have an idea. Sing ." i said. " Who? Me? Now?" he asked. " Yeah. Why not." i said. He shrugged. "Is there a guitar here?" he asked. " Yeah. In that corner." i pointed out. He tested it first and then sang.

He sang it and it was AMAZING. Well, he is a singer. " Alec. That was amazing. Totally great." i said. He rubbed his neck." Well. I wrote that song because i wanna make sure that everyone knows that this beautiful redhead sitting next to me is MY girlfriend." he said. Seriously. I smiled a wide smile at that. I kissed him hard. " You are amazing. You know that right?" i said after pulling back. " Of course." he said. I laughed at that.
