CLARY POV

NO.............He cant be here.......no.........he left me......My best friend.....My favorite person in the world.......My caretaker.......My brother........Jonathan. "Jonathan?" I whispered.His head suddenly snapped to me from Alec. His eyes widened. "Cl....Clary?'" He then wrapped me in a huge bear hug. I let my tears flow then.I returned the hug back strongly. Then i jumped back from him. " wait, why are you here? Dont you have to be with your sluts? Huh???" I asked, angrily. " Clary, I.... I am really sorry....For leaving you there like that. I didnt know what to do....I was hungry for power....I was stupid." He said. "Yeah of course." I scoffed. 

ALEC POV

Seeing Clary hug that guy was so painful for me. That was why she looked so distant when she was playing the piano. This was her ex. I just stood there while they argued. Wait,what? Argued? "Clary?" I asked, keeping my hand on her shoulder. I expected her to jump, but she didnt. She turned to me."Alec, this asshole here is my brother,Jonathan." She said. "WAit,brother?" I said."YEAh , " she said confused." i thought he was ur ex." I said.She then made a gagging sound."ewwww...Alec.."she said.
