“One, two, three and four I came to the land of the dinosaurs. I parked my time machine behind the biggest tree that I could see,” Gabby and I sung as we walked to my, well now our Maths class.
Ezra walked beside Gabby, on her right while I walked on her left. Our arms were linked through each other’s while Ezra seemed to hold his hand to his temple in shape of a gun, threatening to shoot himself from our extremely off-key singing.
“I walked and I walked until my feet got sore, then I set up my big tent and camped on the floor,” we sung again, our eyes both focused on Ezra who had just ‘shot’ himself.
“Yay, he died!” Gabby exclaimed before high fiving me, laughing as Ezra pouted in response.
“What is that song anyway?” Ezra asked, looking between our grinning figures.
“Dinosaurs Go Rawr by Amy Can Flyy,” I replied as we wandered through the Maths room door.
“Right,” he muttered before averting his eyes around the Maths room, taking in the large room that was mostly full of students that seemed to continue on with whatever conversations they were having with their friends.
“Get out of my way,” Mackey barked, before shoving me to one side and walking into the room towards his seat, the seat where Aiden was sitting. I shook my head at his impoliteness before wandering forwards to get to my seat before Mackey’s voice caught my attention, “You’re in my seat fucktard.”
Narrowing my eyes, I moved into the row that Mackey was in so I could hear Aiden’s response which was very lightly spoken, almost impossible to hear.
“S-sorry, I’ll m-move,” he stuttered as he started to collect his stuff that had been neatly placed around the table.
“No, don’t move, he should be the one finding his own god damn seat,” Ezra hissed as I just glared at Mackey who seemed to glance over his own shoulder without a care.
“I’ve found my seat ass hole,” Mackey snapped back.
“Really? Where? I don’t see it,” I replied, glaring at his cocky expression.
“Right where that fucking nerd is sitting,” Mackey growled, facing his full attention to the three teenagers beside him.
“I don’t see a nerd, I only see an innocent teenage boy and a fucking retarded idiot,” Ezra retorted with a scowl.
“Just go find a seat somewhere else, why put so much effort into that one seat?” Gabby asked, speaking for the first time.
“Um, because it’s my seat,” Mackey replied, not sounding so sure with that answer.
“Um, because you won’t be sitting there,” I muttered, my arms crossing determinedly over my chest as I pushed in front of him and sat down in the spare seat next to Aiden.
A smirk rose up on Ezra’s lips as he pulled at Gabby’s arm and moved to an empty seat, ignoring all of the stares that were directed at us. Mackey glared down at Aiden and I, hating the fact that he couldn’t do anything unless he wanted to start a fight.
“Mr. Lira is there a problem?” Mrs. Lyle asked as she placed her dark brown suitcase down onto the top of her cream coloured desk.
“No, ma’am,” Mackey replied before heading towards the front of the room to where the only spare seat was left, next to some random girl that seemed to flutter her eyes in Mackey’s direction.
“Good, now, I hear we have a few students that have been exchanged from another class, could you please stand and tell the class your names,” Mrs. Lyle asked, crossing her arms over her chest as Poison, Ezra and Gabby stood while I just sat further back in my seat, putting my feet onto the edge of the table as I swung lightly. “We’ll start off with you,” Mrs. Lyle said as she pointed at Poison.
