We arrived to the entrance of the woods. I drove my car in. It was 3:45, we should be able to make it on time. We went down a hill and up another. Then I heard a load boom. The car stopped moving. I looked out the back window and saw smoke rising. I got out of the car and motioned Kip and Sara out of the car. "We have to walk," I said. "There's nowhere to get this fixed." We start walking towards her house.
"Kate lives in a big house I remember," Sara says. It seems it's getting dark fast. I pull out my flashlight. We follow the path and find the house. "Kate!" Sara yelled. "We're here!" No response. We walk up to the door and ring the doorbell. Nobody comes to the door. We knock. No response. Kip pushes on the doorknob and it pulls down like it's unlocked. Kip pushes the door open realizing its unlocked.
