Chapter 13: Killing Kip

WHAT?!?! I pull out a knife. I'm about to jump out before I hear Hazel say, "if Adam jumps out I'll just make Kip's death more slow and painful." What do I do?! "Kip!" She yells. "I need your help! Come here please." Kip walks over to Hazel. "Stay here," she says. She then walks over and grabs her sharp stick she dropped earlier. She walks over to Kip. She starts creepily laughing.
"What's going on? What are you doing?" Kip asks.
"I never liked you," Hazel says. "That's why I need to get rid of you. Now that Adam is gone, I can kill you. I'll just say Slenderman got to you and that I tried to save you but I just couldn't. See, before you were born, Adam, Sara, Kalani, Perry, and I were best friends. When you were born, Adam and Sara focused all their attention on you. Kalani and Perry also loved you like their own little brother. I was left in the dust. I didn't like kids. Because of that, they were afraid I would do something. They stopped talking to me. They shut me out. I thought if I came here, I could grow closer to them. I knew that near death would make us closer! And if I was lucky, you would be killed. How did I know Slenderman was here you ask? I didn't, but I did know people were going missing in the woods. Now, if Adam comes while I'm killing you, I will make your death slow and painful. Don't struggle and it won't be so bad." Hazel said. She ran at Kip with her sharp stick. He jumped out of the way.
      "You don't have to do this!" Kip yells.
      "Yes I do!" Hazel yells back. She picks up a sharp rock and throws it at Kip. It hits his ankles and he falls to the ground. He takes his shoe and sock off. There's a huge gash. It's bleeding like crazy. He grabs a leaf and covers it so he doesn't lose much more blood. Hazel walks up to him with the stick.
     "It's the end of the line Kip!" Hazel yells.
     "Please! Don't do this!" Kip yells.
     Hazel holds the stick and gets ready to stab. All of the sudden, she gets tackled. She is quickly contained and pinned to the ground. It's Jeff. Two of those things, walk up behind him. I grab to rocks and throw them at the things.
      "I'll stall some time! You guys fight back!" I yell.
Jeff pulls out a knife and holds it above Hazels head. He then says, "we were waiting for you to fight. We were waiting for you to get weak. Now I'm going to kill you, and your friends." He raises his arm to stab. Then Kip grabs a huge stick and smacks Jeff's head. He falls off of Hazel. Kip grabs the sharp stick and stabs Jeff in the shoulder. I jump out of the bushes. Jeff looks over at me and says, "you. Of course you are here! You got off lucky this time." He looks at the things. "You two! Let's go!" he snaps. They start backing into the woods. "I am Jeff! Jeff the killer! You better watch your back!" he yells.
Kip walks over to Hazel who is on the ground. She cringes up, getting ready to be killed. Kip holds his hand out. She looks up. She grabs his hand. Kip pulls her up off the ground. Hazel gives him a hug. "You really are better than I thought," she says. "Thank you so much for saving me."
"No problem," Kip responds.
I look over and the bushes start rustling. Sara, Kalani, and Perry blast into our area. "We heard a lot of commotion, are you guys okay!" they all yell. We all nod.
