"Are you okay Adam?" Sara asked.
"Yea, I'm fine," I replied.
"I just remembered, there's a warehouse deeper into the woods. If we go there we might be able to hi--" Sara was interrupted. Th door to the house slammed open. We saw the man in the doorway. He held a knife in his left hand. He slowly started tilting his head. My vision, it's getting staticky and fuzzy. I like over to my brother who is crying. I start hearing a beeping like sound. I close my eyes. The fuzziness is still there and I see his face.
"Look away!" my brother screams. I look away and it helps.
"Let's go!" Sara yells. We start running in the direction of the warehouse. I keep seeing the man teleport into view beside the path. Who knows what he will do if he catches us. We run into the warehouse and up the stairs into a room. We slam the door shut and lock it.
"That should hold him off for now," I say. I look around the room. There's a desk, a closet, and a plant. Oh yea, and the creepy drawings on the wall.
"Look at this," Sara says. We walk over to her pointing a blue print map thing. It shows the woods and all these little green dots. "Look," she points. She points a map key. "See, the dots mean a huge light. If we can get there, we can turn them on so we're not like blind people scrambling through the woods." I look behind me and see what looks to be a snake going under the door into our room. Wait, that's not a snake, it's like a tentacle. It rose up to the door and began writing something on the wall with some kind of black sludge. It wrote, LOCKED DOORS CAN'T SAVE YOU. The tentacle then slid over to the doorknob and unlocked it. The tentacle slid back under the door and the door blasted open. The man stood there in the doorway. There was the tentacle coming out of his back. Instead of one, there were about ten. One of the tentacles jetted forward. It grabbed Kip by the neck. It pulled him back to the man. The man pulled out a knife and held it to Kip's chest.
Sara began running towards the man. "Unhand him!" She screamed. Another tentacle swung foreword and smacked her to the ground. All the sudden, all of the man's tentacles sucked back into his back. Kip dropped to the ground. He ran forward and leaned on the wall. There was a knife in his back. I locked at the doorway and saw a good friend. "Hazel!" Sara yelled.
"When I got the party cancellation note, I knew something was wrong. Kate never cancels parties! When I got here, I found out what was going on," Hazel said. We all ran out of the warehouse and found a small place. We explained to her everything that happened, and also the giant lights. She was determined to help.
