As we pulled into the stop i already has put on my lips gloss and checked to see if my wavy length hair was at least a little straight. We got out Becca's car and heared a group of rushing girls squeaking. " God thats so annoying! Who the hell is causing all that commotion?!" Becca grunted.
We turned to see Xaiver smiling over the big rush of girls signing autographs and taking pictures.He still looked the same from a year ago.His hair color was like Becca's mixed with a dirty blond a soft curls. Eyes deep blue skin perfect cream. He was still tall but taller than before his muscles lean as a figure skater he was and thin all the same. My heart stung a bit. Apparently Becca could tell.
" Vick lets go inside. I'll buy you some hot chocolate." she nudged my shoulder. I smiled. " Only if you buy me a cookie too." She rolled her eyes but grinned." Man your expensive! But deal."
as we made our way inside i heared my name called out," Victoria!" i turned in time to crash into Calvin Waters. I laughed. " Calvin was taller than me, another skater and one of my good friends. His dyed blue hair and dewy brown eyes made him popular with the ladies.
" Hi Calvin! Wow your so freakin tall!" i giggled. He rubbed my head. " Well duh i drink milk. Try it sometime shorty. I hear your on the market." he smiled. Becca snapped at him," Stupid she is not! She has a boyfriend!"
Calvin acknowledged Becca's presence. They never did get along. " No idiot. Didn't you hear it from lily? Victoria and the moron finally ended it. Now im here to claim my prize." My stomach flipped a little. I guess everyone knows it ended. Becaa was growing really angry. " Stop, just stop Calvin! You have no clue what your saying!"
"Becca please.....It's okay." i patted her back and looked at Calvin. " Cal me and Xaiver DID break up but that was a year ago. I have a different-" yet i stopped when i saw Xaiver enter and looked at me. I looked away first suddenly feeling sick. " I-i don't think it was such a good idea for me to come." i whispered to Becca. " Want me to take you home?" she asked but Calvins hand wrapped around my shoulders. " Nonsense! You did come all this way to see me so lets go put ice skates on you and skate to our hearts content!" he laughed moving me away from Becca.
He had me get skates and put them on. " Calvin....i-i need to use the bathroom." i lied. Anything to get me away from going into the rink again. He nodded. " I'll wait inside the rink for you then." he left.
I gave a sigh of relief. I walked in the skates towards the bathroom to change in my shoes when i tripped and bumped into someone. " Oh im sorry!" i apologized.
" Victoria." that voice whispered. No. I looked up and met beautiful blue eyes. Xaiver." O-oh hi." i looked away my face heating up. " Victoria. Look at me when your talking to me." he said harshly. I gave a humorless laugh. " You should really follow your own advice Xaiver. Really would have helped me out. Well i need to go." i moved past him but he caught my arm." Vick lets talk about this." Ugh! this is what i hated. He could make me do things i really didn't want to do. With a simple apology he would have me in the palm of his hand again. " Let go Xaiver." i still didn't look at him. " No you have to listen to me. About...that day. I want you to know im-"
"Let me go Xaiver! I need to go see my boyfriend!" i yelled finally looking at him. His expression was blank but his eyes were in pain. He let me go. " Thank you." i rushed of and took off the skates replacing them with my shoes trying to locate Becca.
It was a mistake to come here. I was so stupid. I found Becca by the snack bar with a cookie and hot chocolate in hand. " Oh my god are you okay?!" she placed the food down on tne counter and wiped tears away with her sleeves. I was crying?
" Y-yeah. Im fine. Can you take me to Drew? I wanna see him. I was such a idiot to come here." i mumbled. She shook her head." Your not an idiot Vick. You just....cant handle it right now. The wound still hasn't closed.But yeah i'll take you to see that Mighty Drew."
I laughed. Becca always had a spot to make me laugh even when i was down. " Even after all this you still dont like Drew."
No it was her turn to laugh as she handed me the cookie." Hon all men will break a girls heart sooner or later." she sighed.
I munched on my new sweet friend.
" Yeah."
My heart break just came sooner i guess.
And that really sucked.
