The Abyss. Chapter 1.

The sun was burning bright in the blue sky...
Seagulls complained to one another about who was getting the pieces of fish as the sea gently swayed back and forth...

Then the seagulls took off as soon as they came too close to two boats, fighting alongside eachother...
The sound of cannons....
The smell of the salty sea stung...
The scent of gun powder filled the air...

The Crackerjack cackled and the Laughingstock roared.

Percy swung across the boat on a rope he had cut, managing to kick down at least three people in the process and send one flying over the edge...
The Rubber Fishes had gotten a bunch of people to join them and Percy was very impressed... but not impressed enough to spare their antics...

He ran over to Horace and they began to fight.

"YE MAY BE FAST PERCIVAL BUT I'M FASTER!" Horace screached and clashed his sword against Percy's, snapping his fingers.

Sunny ran over... she was silent... as usual...

She kicked Percy across the boat... Percy managed to stay on his feet, he could feel the wood splinter beneath his feet...

He charged at Sunny...

Percy sent Sunny flying and he kicked her into a bunch of barrels.

Percy started fighting again with Horace until he heard a small voice yelling and looked back...

He soon saw a small child, waddling around, yelling. "Papa!!! PAPA!!"

Percy stopped fighting Horace and stared in horror. "Wha?... what is that child doin here?"

Horace ran past Percy... towards the child, Percy was about to stop the man but Horace picked up the child and yelled. "CARSED NENNICOT SOBEN!! WHAT'RE YA DOIN OUT OF YER ROOM?!"

The boy started crying as everyone went dead quiet...
"S...Soben?" Percy shuddered in terror as Horace and crew looked at the Laughingstocks and stopped fighting.

"Aye... this is th son of SkinTaker... sadly he be as cowardly as you were Percival..." Horace growled as Carsed sniffled and hugged Horace. "I adopted him... hopin we could help th kid live and he did... he just... he just has that Abyssal Kingdom look to him... all except his eyes..."

Carsed looked at the Laughingstocks with beautiful, blue eyes.

Everyone sighed as Carsed looked confused. Carsed didn't seem to understand why all these people were staring at him.

Carsed then noticed something. "Papa! Look!"

Horace looked over at a dark cloud coming over the boats, becoming very afraid.

"That doesn't look good..." You say, holding your little one's hand...
You see... you had also had another son... his nickname was Buttons but his real name was Marlo... he had very pale hair... it was supposed to be red but it got faded somehow so now it was a strawberry blonde...

He had purple eyes and always wore a sailor costume with big black buttons... Marlo was shivering right now... he was scared...

The boats started to get caught in swirling water....
around and around they went before the crews noticed that they were caught in a whirlpool.

"EVERYONE HOLD ON!!" Percy yelled and held on to a pole, everyone then did the same... soon the boats were sucked into the water with the crews... both captains knowing there was no escape from the pull of a whirlpool....

And as they sunk... they never would have guessed...

That this was only the beginning.
