A Special Dream. Chapter 5

You awoke to everyone getting ready and looked for Marlo....

Percy was discussing with Horace about what they should do and had assistance from Mochono...

You eventually found them playing with each other...
You giggled at their happy faces and their untainted innocence.

Carsed held onto Marlo's hand, running with him through the groups of pirates, sword fighting and rough housing... but in a gentle manner as Carsed seemed like he didn't want to hurt his newfound friend.

Marlo was very good at fighting for his age and Carsed was also awesome at fighting... Marlo trained with his father so Carsed must have done the same...

Carsed was very thin... so his speed was incredible but Marlo had a sharp eye and could easily block...

You were impressed at the children but then you had to go and break up their battle so you all could get going.

Carsed quit fighting Marlo who was just about to lose before you came...

You smiled and picked up Marlo.
Marlo sighed and said. "We'll continue this!"

Carsed nodded excitedly and smiled before running to Horace.

Horace didn't look impressed but seemed very amused by Carsed's little "adventure".

You smiled... you were happy nobody was fighting but even if Horace was a fool when in battle... he was no fool when it came to a situation like this...

Marlo told you all about how cool Carsed was and how amazing he was at fighting...
But then your son said something that caught you off guard for a second.
"He's real pretty mom... his eyes make me blush..."

You tried to stifle a laugh as Marlo looked confused. "What? It's true!! And he has real soft hair..."

You breathed and sighed before saying.

"You'll understand when you're older honey..."

You sigh and then everyone gets to traveling...

But while Carsed slept in his father's arms... he... he screamed fearfully.
"What is it Carsed?!" Horace panicked as the boy cried.

"A... A skeleton! C...Came and a...ate my skin off! Don't let the mean skelly eat me papa!"
Horace looked horrified... you knew this was bad, Horace held tightly onto Carsed and said. "I promise... I won't let em..."

Carsed sniffled, hugging Horace... you felt that there was something more to that dream... and from the way Percy looked... he knew too....
