Carsed reached the mouth of the cavern.
He traversed the inside of the cave in a cowardly but determined fashion. The group was seperated from him, ending up somehow getting lost in the caverns but Carsed was on the correct path.
He heard the sounds of distant hums and voices calling out to loved ones, to gods, to curse and to their final pleas.
They shook him to his core but he continued on.
Each step led him deeper into the darkness until a light shone upon the laying form of Horace the Horrible. He saw his father then ran to him, only to be stopped by a familiar voice.
"And what do you believe you will gain from rescuing this sorry excuse for a father? " Carsed stopped dead in his tracks, the echo of SkinTaker's voice bouncing around the cave and shaking him up.Carsed turned to face him, seeing no one.
"You should know by now that he wont make you a great pirate as I will. He wont teach you magic nor aid you in becoming a leader one day. Only your REAL father could do that..."
SkinTaker's voice growled in his ear, Carsed swinging his sword in SkinTaker's direction but missing as the skeleton dodged.Carsed stared with horror at the sight of his so called father, his bones were splintered and eyes bulging out of his skull.
"Y- you..." He swallowed his fear and did his best to intimidate.
"YOU ARENT M-MY FATHER! You were NEVER THERE FOR ME! Now DIE by MY HANDS-" He yelled as courageously as he could.SkinTaker stared then seemed amused as he unsheathed his sword then pointed it at Carsed.
"Alright then son, show me what good that has gotten you.
Ill be sure your death is painless and your skin will be my most prized possession~"
Carsed glared and readied himself.
This would be a battle to remember.
