And there he was...
Horace sat on his knees... looking down at the ground... he had given up all attempts at escape...
His chains wore heavy against his wrist...
Another chain had been wrapped around what was left of his other arm...
He sighed... he listened to the silence... and recalled the times where he had wished for such silence...
He regretted that now...
The chains were the only noise besides the sounds of dripping water and constant noise of the sanity destroying static that never seemed to be getting any quieter...
He sighed, he tasted the blood he had bled when he first had fallen here against his teeth.
He had struggled when he had first fallen here...
The chains had come alive and wrapped around him like a boa constrictor around it's prey.
He looked back at his legs... one had managed to survive with a small bite from the creatures that had attacked...
The other... laid broken... mangled but not dead... lucky for him it was healing well... the bone itself was not shattered... however... if the skin did not heal properly... he might be in trouble...
He missed Carsed.... he missed the crew... he missed being in his world...
Being free from this place he had fallen into...
Being free from the chains that grew tighter around him with every breath he took...
He gritted his teeth... he knew who watched him from the shadows... he could hear him chuckle...
"Why don't you just end me? You got what you wanted... for me to be at the fate of your hands..." He growled as the man walked out of the shadows.
What Horace saw, chilled him to his core.
"What's the matter?... you look as if you've seen a ghost..." He chuckled.
"H...How did you...?..." Horace trembled at the sight... of SkinTaker...
Or... Thade Soben to be exact...
The man had gotten his body back... somehow...
"Do not be afraid~" Thade cooes.
"BE TERRIFIED!!!.. As soon as I manage to make this body solid... Candle Cove will be mine..."
"PERCY AND THE OTHERS WILL STOP YOU!! JUST LIKE EVERY TIME!!"
Thade glared at him. "Funny... the game has changed since then my dear Horace... Percy and the rest of your little rescue team is coming to look for you~" He grinned.
"You're lying!" Horace protested.
"Am I~?" Thade asked with an amused and cruel expression.
Horace became angry. "YOU DID THIS!! YOU DID ALL OF THIS!! I BET YOU PUT THOSE WORDS INTO CARSED'S MOUTH!!" He yelled as Thade sighed with a malicious grin.
"Oh no... you caught me... but it doesn't matter now..." He smiled in a mocking manner. "As soon as Carsed gets here.... he will return to me... and together... we will DESTROY CANDLE COVE!!!" He boomed and then laughed insanely.
Horace growled. "HE WON'T LISTEN TO YOU!! I KNOW IT!! IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THEY DEFEAT YOU!!" He yelled as Thade sighed.
His boots clicked as he walked to Horace and grinned at him, an evil grin spread across his face.
"Oh Horace... you have so much hope... I will have so much fun... when I crush it in my hands... as for your friends~ they will be trapped here with you... forever... and just like you... they will never escape...
Or at least... not until... death does them part..." He chuckles as Horace snaps at him and sends him aback.
"They will never let you get away with this... they will save Candle Cove... and defeat you again... hopefully... for the last time..." He growls lowly.
Thade merely smirks. "We shall see... until then... try not to struggle too much... those chains are getting quite snug against you..." He laughs as Horace's chains grow tighter...
"You sick scavenger..." Horace growls angrily.
Thade smirks and walks away...
Horace looks into the surface above him...
And hopes that the others turn back and leave without him.
