"Tomorrow" i said

"tomorrow i will "

I've said before

i'll say again.

"would you have me as yours ?

let yourself be mine ?

we could start afresh

we could start today"

"tomorrow" i said with barely a smile.

"tomorrow again ?

tomorrow it is"

"good morning my love

tomorrow has come.

today we'll leave

we'll start afresh

come with me now

we needn't wait "

"tomorrow my love "

i said with a smirk

"but please my love we shouldn't wait"

"one more time i beg

and then i'll be yours."

i said ecstatic,

with a grin on my face .

"alright my love

can hardly wait.

i despise the night

barrier from tomorrow "

"come now my love,

lay by my side

let's drift into tomorrow ."

with hearts hardly slowing,

both waiting for tomorrow

gleaming and glowing

and waiting for tomorrow

but tomorrow never came

for him at least.

He lay there immobile,

with a smile on his face,

waiting for the tomorrow that never came.

my smile soon faded,

as pieces fell in place

my light had faded

so close to tomorrow.

and now though immortal,

i felt myself die.

die for him and die for me.

and so i closed my eyes and lay back down

and peacefully drifted into tomorrow .
