Chapter 2 : A normal Friday

The next Day

Alfred woke up before Oliver again.His stomach aches but he brushed it off.Alfred climbed out of bed and got dressed for school.He noticed his pants fitting a bit tighter than normal 'Better lay off the burgers at school 'He thinks to himself.He rubbed his slight pudge.Oliver woke up and yawned loudly.He saw Alfred looking at himself in the bathroom mirror "Morning Poppet~"He says with a smiled"Oh morning freckles "He smiled at him.Oliver climbed out of bed and hugged him"You're up on time for once"Oliver said smugly "Hahaha very funny Olie "He started to brushed his teeth and checked the time."Olie it's 6:30! I'm going to head down to the bus stop okay?"He said loudly"All right Alfie "He came to the door and kissed him"I love you be safe okay?"Oliver said"I will babe love you too bye!"He darted out the door.Alfred ran down the street to his bus stop making the 6:45 bus on time for once.On his way to school he still felt sick and tired.He sighed "Three more months left". The bus arrived at the school"Here we go."

Oliver was leaving his classes for that day and had a hour before he had work.He went and picked up Alfred from school "Hey babe~"Alfred kissed Oliver in the parking lot."Hello poppet how was your Day?"Alfred shrugged "I think you wore me out last night because I am so tired"Oliver smiled and opened the car door for him"Good I'm doing my job right then"Oliver winked earning a blush from Alfred.Alfred then sighed and laid back in the seat"Thank god it's Friday "He smiled at you"Oh it's Friday I forgot "Oliver said and checked his watch"You have your scrubs right?"Oliver asked"You know it"Alfred pulled out his scrubs.On Fridays he volunteers at the hospital and worked the desk in the ER where Oliver worked."Alright let's go then"Oliver drove to the hospital and parked in his special spot that has his name on it"Ready Poppet?"Oliver asked.Alfred nodded"Let's do this"

After a 4 hour shift in the ER the lovely couple are able to leave and go home.They arrived at their small but cozy apartment.Oliver flopped on the couch "Being a physician is hard"He mumbled in the couch"It sure is but you get good pay though and so don't I, for working at McDonald's every other night "Alfred dug around the fridge for food"Seriously you want to eat after seeing a A man push out a baby?"Oliver asked and Shivered"What I'm hungry something like that won't stop me"he found nothing to satisfy his particular hunger"I want Chinese how about you?"He turned and asked Oliver"Sure plate 13 from Chen's please "Oliver said from the couch rubbing his feet"Okay I'll call it in"He said and dialed the Chinese place.

Thirty minutes later they are sitting at the table and eating Chinese food.Alfred got a box of lo mein and some gold fingers.He ate all of it in ten minutes "Whoa poppet that's record time"Oliver exclaimed.Alfred looked down"Well I was really hungry.."He pouted and yawned"Well I'm ready for bed"He then went to the bedroom and got undressed and poked at his belly"I'm going to work out more"He mumbled and then crawled into bed and falling asleep.Oliver joined him a half hour later and cuddled up to him"Geez he has been eating more and sleeping more too.I wonder if he is having a growth spurt?"he shrugged and fell asleep holding his beloved boyfriend.
