"Why are you asking me?" Dan's mum asked because she knows that she is not involved with Phil's death, or even if Phil's alive.
"I just want to know cause you have his mum's phone number. Can you ask her if he's alive?" Dan pleaded.
She didn't want to check on Phil because she knows that if he knows that Phil is alive, that means that Dan will leave them again. She tried to defend. "Dan, you know how many years it's been without him. Can't you move on?" She asked.
Dan sadly shook his head while looking down.
His mum let out a sigh. She walked closer to Dan then she hugged him. "Dan, your with us now."
Dan hugged back while sobbing. His mum patted him on the back.
After a minute, Dan pulled away then said, "I-I'll just... go to my room." Dan ran to his room then sat on the bed staring at the book he is holding on.
"I miss you Phil."
