My Dad's Best Friend Son

chapter seven

Paige's pov 

we walked down to the pool. When we got  outside there were a lot of people. I am not a people person so i hope these people aren't here for me cause if the are i am going back inside. My dad walked over to me. 

"Hey dad why is there so many people here?"I asked.

"They are here to meet you,"He said.

"OK well i am going swimming."I said as i walked toward the pool.

"That was brave of you to walk away from you father," Tobias said.

"Why is it brave i told him I didn't want  a party because i have social anxiety. I fuck told him if he had a party i was going to be pissed. What did he? He had a fucking party." I said getting in the pool.

"Ya I know my dad helped him make arrangements." Tobias said as he got in the pool too.

The pool is inground, it starts off shallow then gets deep as you walk away from the steps. The bottom of the pool is black with band names on it. I realize they are metal bands and country singers. On the deep end of the pool the is a waterfall that goes into the pool. The pool is at least 12 foot deep.

"Paige Grace can I talk to you in private please?" My dad asked walking up to the pool.

"NO I told you not to throw a party and what do you do? Throw a fucking party."i said then diving under the water. 

I stayed underwater for almost a minute. When i came up my dad was gone. I looked around to see if i could see Tobias. I could find him. I felt something grab my leg. I held my breathe as i went underwater. It was Tobias who had my leg. He let my leg go and  I went back up so did he.

When I got back up to the top of the water i heard my dad say for everyone to go inside cause the storm is almost here. All the sudden i heard a loud roar of thunder. I swam to the edge of the pool and hoisted myself up. I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around my body. Tobias did the same thing .  

"Do you know how to get to your room?" He asked me.

"No I forget but it's OK cause you are right across the hall." I said just wanting to get in the house. 

"Ya come on I need a shower before i can eat." He said walking to the house.

"Ya me too i hate not showering after swimming." I said following him.

We walked into the house and walked to our rooms. As soon as i got in my room i went and grabbed my shampoo and stuff and went in my own personal bathroom. I got a quick shower and got dressed. I figured Tobias was done so I walk across the hall and walked in his room cause he said i could come in whenever i wanted to. His room was black with band names on it in chalk i think. I walked over to his bed and sat down.

I heard a door open. Tobias walked out in just a towel.

"You don't dressed in the bathroom?"I asked. 

"What the hell are you doing in here?" He asked.

"I don't know where to go so i came in here cause you said i could."I said looking at his upper body.

"OK you like what you see?"He asked playful smiling.

"Ya you have a nice body I only ever seen my brothers without shirts on and my old neighbor. They all had flab. I never seen abs before." I said blushing.

"Have you ever had you first kiss?"He asked.

"No i never had a boyfriend before." I said looking down. 

"Really you are the first person i have ever met not to have been kissed aren't you 18?" He said/ asked.

"Wow thanks that makes me feel so much better about myself and yes i will be 19 in a week." I said looking up at him.  He had boxers on now when the hell did he do that.

"Well you should be happy cause i was the same way. It is sucks until you get your first kiss. Then you well be glad you waited." He said he was right beside me now. 

"Really i thought i was the only one?" I said /asked.

"Well ya let's go before your dad comes up looking for us and say i am pressuring you into sex or something like that." He said as he put a shirt on.

"Has he done that before?" i asked.

"Ya with my ex Diane. She is your age but she was the only trying to get my to do it so ya."He said so freely like it doesn't bother he to talk about his ex's.

"Oh ya we don't want that to happen he would kill you then me." I said giggling.

"You are so true. Let me make sure the coast is clear."He said opening his door and looking outside. 

He waved me to go so I did and he followed me out. We walked down to the living room. I seen all the people from outside sitting throughout the room. Everyone was in conversation; of them were talking about football. When at least the guys.  I felt someone touch my shoulder ;I turned around and saw it was Tobias. He was standing next to a older gentleman. 

"Your dad wants you in the kitchen right now," Tobias said.

"OK show where that is so I can go talk to him (cough) fight (cough)." I said following Tobias away from everyone.

We got the kitchen and my dad was standing by the stove. 

"What do you want?" I asked clearly pissed off and he caught it.

"I just want to ask if you want to bake like you did when you were little,"He said.

"I haven't baked in years." I said trying to remember the last time i baked.

"Oh why haven't you been baking you were so good at it?" He asked.

"Because after the accident i was busy living my life to the fullest. Baking was not that important to me any more." I said thinking about my aunt.

"Well if you ever want to bake just tell the chief and he will tell you where everything is." With that he walked out of the kitchen.

"Ok then." I said to the air.

I turned around to see Tobias standing by the door. I like him a lot so living with him is going to be fun considering i just want to kiss him.
