Chapter 11

Tobias's dad pov 

We told the kids about the trip. They didn't take it very well. Paige screamed at James and ran out of the room. Tobias went after her. I can't believe James didn't go after ,her, though.

"James , why didn't you go after her?" I asked.

"Because she would have snapped on me again,"He replied. 

"That doesn't mean shit James that is your daughter you have been in her life for almost 10 years James. I don't understand you."I said as I got up and went to see if Paige was ok.

I walked to her room and just as I was about to knock Tobias door opened. Paige walked out. They both had looks of horror on their faces. 

"Hey Dad,"Tobias said.

"Hello son," I said.

"Please don't tell James that she was in my room he will have my head." He said.

"Don't worry I don't care. You two would be cute together." I said.

"Really?"Paige asked.

"Ya sorry that I bothered you. I just wanted to check on you Paige to see if you were all right. I would like to apologize for not telling you guys soon,"I said. 

"Well I am fine just a little pissed off and you shouldn't be the one to make sure I am OK. Thank you though." Paige said hugging me and then going to her room.

"Why did you guys wait so long to tell us that you are leaving?"Tobias asked.

"Because James knew how Paige was going to be so he said we aren't telling you guys till a few hours before we leave,"I said.

"Oh OK, dad sees you when you come back." He said and walked back into his room.

I walked back downstairs to find James on the phone. He was yelling at the person on the other side. I heard him say to the person on the phone that he was sick of having Paige here living with him already. He is such a piece of shit sometimes. I know one thing the only reason he doesn't like Paige here is because he can't bring his whores here anymore. 

"Hey ,James, should I send for the car?" I asked walking up to him after he got off the phone.

"No, I already did. We are going to be gone longer now because there is yet another problem we have to fix,"James said.

"Ok,"I said as the car pulled up.

We got in the car and drove to the airport. The whole ride there James was on his phone texting people. I texted Tobias and told him we might be gone longer than expected and to tell Paige to. He texted back OK.  We got to the airport and got on the jet. We were taking the company jet. Once we got on the jet I went to the one private room. I set my stuff down and then laid down.  It is a 12-hour flight. I have no doubt that James has some girl in his room fucking her right at the moment.  

Paige's Pov

My dad and Doug left about a half an hour ago. I walked downstairs because I was hungry. I walked to the kitchen to find Tobias in basketball shorts and no shirt. I must have been staring cause he started to chuckle. His chuckle was deep and it had an effect on me. I like it tho it turns me to Jell-o. 

"Hey ,Paige, you like what you see?" Tobias joked.

"Maybe," I said looking at him.  

"Well, when I like what I see I go after it." He said.

"I don't," I said walking over by him.

"See there is this girl I like and she is younger than me. I think I am falling in love with her but her parents will never allow us to be together." He said. 

"How old is she?"I asked. 

"19 Her dad don't want her to grow up she is in college. Her dad told me if I do anything to her he is going to kill me."He said.

"Well her parents can't do anything because she is over the age of 18,"I said.

"Yes, they can. Her dad don't like me because I am still living with my dad,"He said.

"Then find a place and move out,"I said grabbing a plate from the cupboard.

"I am trying but I don't think she likes me back,"He said.

"Then ask her if she likes you. If she doesn't then oh well,"I said.

"Ok Thanks, Paige,"He said. 

"What is her name and how did you meet her?" I asked.

"I am not saying any names but I will tell you how I meet her. I meet her at a club and I am pretty sure she was drinking."He said.

"Cool I like this guy that I met at a club I still talk to him, but I think he likes another girl. I mean I don't think I know because he keeps telling me about her.  It is slowly killing me on the inside, but whatever right," I said. 

"If it bothers you then why don't you tell him that you don't want to hear about the girl he likes?" He asked.

"I don't know I just want to make him happy. Him talking about her makes him happy so I will deal with it." I said looking at him trying to hide the fact that he is the one I am talking about.  

Tobias Pov 

I was standing in the kitchen when Paige walked in. I was eating and she was just looking at me. I must have scared her because she jumped when I chuckled. We ended up talking about people we liked. She told me the guy she liked keeps talking about a girl he likes and it bothers her. I wish I could ask her out but her dad would have my ass he said if I even think about touching her he is going to kick me out. 

"Paige What is the guy's name?" I asked.

"I really don't want to share,"she said.

"What if I tell you who I like too?"
