I was woken up to the sound of my phone buzzing. Letting out a very annoyed groan as I rolled over and checked my phone. My moan was immediately brightened by who had texted me.

DinahJane: you know what I like more than cute puppies?

Me: what?

DinahJane: beautiful green eyed girls like yourself.

I was blushing profusely because of the fact that the Dinah Jane was complimenting me. It's so amazing!

Me: wow Dinah you're very sweet.

DinahJane: only for you babe😏 so are you doing anything today?

Me: I have to drop something off to my dad but other than that I'm free. Why?

DinahJane: because I wanted to hang out again. Maybe take a trip to the mall.

I squealed happily as I jumped in my seat. Dinah wants to hang out with me! Oh my gosh this is great!

Me: yeah I would like that.

DinahJane: great I'll pick you up at two.

Me: yeah that's great. I'll see you then.

DinahJane: ok gorgeous I'll talk to you later. Bye.

Me: bye.

I jumped up and down on my couch because I could not hold in the excitement I was feeling. I can't believe that Dinah Jane wants to hang out with me again. Someone please pinch me because I must be dreaming.

I just got done giving my dad his new camera equipment I headed home. I'm walking up the stairs when I accidentally bumped into somebody.

"Not exactly how I wanted to find you but this will work" a familiar husky voice chuckles.

My eyes meet beautiful brown ones that I'm definitely falling for "hey Dinah what are you doing here" I asked awkwardly. She just smiled at me "I was going to wait by your apartment for you but I forgot my phone so I decided to head back down to get it" she explains. My cheeks turned red as I smiled "so you were just going to camp out in front of my door" I asked. Dinah covers her mouth and laughs "well that was the plan but I forgot my phone so I had to go back." I giggled "come I have to change and then we can go" I said. Dinah intertwined our fingers as we walked towards my apartment. I unlocked the door "uh you can chill on the couch and I'll be out in a minute." She nods as she took a seat on the couch.

I walked into my room and immediately rushed towards my closet. I searched for five minutes until I came across my favorite black short sleeved crop top and a pair the of ripped skinny jeans. I changed my clothes before walking into the living room where I saw Dinah looking at my paintings.

"Lo did you paint this" she asks.

I nodded timidly "well it's beautiful. You should definitely paint me something sometime." I perked up and nodded "yeah I would love to" I said a lot more eagerly then I would have liked. Dinah giggles "you're adorable. Come let's go!" She once again grabs my hand and walked me out of my apartment.

"I thought we were going to the mall."

"Yeah I lied. This however is going to be way more fun" Dinah said as she got out of the car. I just shook my head as I followed right behind her. Here goes nothing.

"Yes may we please have two pairs of skates please" Dinah asked the girl at the counter.

"Of course. What sizes?"
