"Mani you really need to talk to her" I told her.

Normani huffs as she rolls her eyes "Lauren like I told Dinah I tied but all Ally does is ignores me. Leaving me heartbroken and confused" she says as she frowns deeply.

"Normani maybe Ally's just trying to figure things out. Maybe she's scared" I told her. Normani frowns "then why wouldn't she just tell me? Why run away and ignore me" she asked desperately. I shrugged "Mani I can't answer that. But what I can do is tell you that you need to talk to her. You need to ask her what is going on. Just be there for her" I advised her.

Normani's eyes started to tear up "I-I just don't understand why s-she's pushing me away. W-what did I do" she cries. My heart broke at the sight of my best friend crying "Mani it's going to be ok. She'll hopefully come around and will be willing to talk to you. It's going to be alright babe" I told her "I hope so" she mumbles into my chest.

"So enough about me. How are you and Dinah" she asked wiping away her tears. A smile crept on my face as I thought about the blonde tattooed beauty who stole my heart "we're good. We're taking things slow" I said "but" Normani pushed "but she wants people to know that she's seeing someone!" Normani squeals as she jumped and hugged me "oh LoLo that's great! I'm so happy for you" she says. I smiled as I pulled away "me too. I finally think I found what was missing from my life" I admitted "yeah what's that" she questioned. I grinned "love."

"So how's Normani doing" Dinah asked as she walking to the kitchen.

I sigh "she's been better. She really hurting. What about Ally" I asked.

Dinah frowns "she's shutting me out. I've tried everything to get her to talk to me but she just ignores me." She started tearing up so I ran to her and wrapped my arms around her and held her close to me "Lauren I just want my best friend back. Why is she pushing me away" she cries "oh Dinah it's going to be ok. Ally will hopefully come around and talk to you and Normani" I cooed in her ear "everything will hopefully work out" I reassured.

Dinah pulls away from me and hung her head "I hate when she acts like this. We've known each other for five years but yet she still doesn't trust me to tell me what's going on. Am I a bad best friend?" I shook my head "of course not DJ. Maybe it's not you maybe it's the fact that she has trust issues. You did tell me that her parents kicked her out when they found out that she was gay." Dinah just nods "I don't really know Ally but I know enough about her to know that she's scared of history repeating. She doesn't want to be let down again" I told her.

Dinah chuckles and played with my fingers "how do you know all of this" she asks "because I used to have a friend that was the same way. She was scared of trusting people so she would push them away. One day I decided to tell her that wasn't a good idea and that in order to find true happiness she needs to start letting people in" I told her.

Dinah pecked my lips softly causing me to smile "you're amazingly smart. That's one of the things I like about you" she tells me. I blushed at her words "come on cutie let's get to baking" she says as she held up the brownies mix. I smiled and began putting everything into the bowl while Dinah snap chatted me. I gave her a playful glare as I threw flour at her. Dinah gasped and began chasing me around her kitchen.

"You're dead Jauregui" she yells as she started to chase me.

I laughed as I ran faster "you'll have to catch me first Hansen" I yelled back. Dinah chases me around the couch so I ran back into the kitchen, where Dinah had me cornered "there's no where to run Lo" she smirks menacingly as she pick up some chocolate syrup. My eyes grew wide as I looked for something to pick up. I mentally hi five myself as I spotted the whipped cream on the counter. I smirked when Dinah's smirk dropped.
