Quote: "Ted Bundy was, and for all sense of purpose, cold. He did what Ed Gein did; he did what Albert DeSalvo did in Boston; he did what Charles Milles Manson did in Hollywood; he did it though in the next decade: the 1970's; while everyone else that came before him, did it in the 1950's, and 1960's...And that was mass murder.

"The question of who was the most evil US psychopath is debated. But Ted Bundy raised the stakes in the 70's...along with The Son of Sam, David Berkowitz, and other killers who were notorious in their day, like The Zodiac killer.

"That, in the end, summed up the Golden Age of murderous whose crimes of the old school days before DNA; before forensic medicine made it easier to catch modern killers in the 1980's...through to the 21st century", unquote-Author Robert Helliger, (August 4, 1973-).

PART TWO

I

Bundy was prepared for his trial date.

It wasn't rocket science that he was in court.

"Ted, I want you to plead guilty", his lawyer, *Don Ives*, (not his real name), told him.

"Don't worry, I'll get out", Bundy smiled, and awaited for the Judge's sentence.

II

"Ted Bundy, I sentence you to 15 years in the Utah State Prison". *Judge Irvin Gaines*, (not his real name), bashed down on his brown colored gavel, and Bundy was in deep trouble.

The date was: February 23, 1976.

***

By 1977, Bundy vowed to continue his crimes.

He decided that he was too close to the electric chair.

And, for whatever reason, he wasn't killed right there and then.

And, sadly, the terror continued.

III

June 7, 1977

Bundy was on a Aspen Colorado Prison bus that was heading to the Garfield Springs facility where some of that hardest ever killers, rapists, and murderers, were housed.

He was someone who was consently watched.

Because of the previous crimes of necrophilia, rape, and abduction, there was no reports of more college girls being attacked by him.

And, for everyone, that was a relief.

IV

On arrival at Pitkin County Courthouse, Bundy told the Judge:

"Your honor, I'd like to defend myself; I'd like to see the prison law books, please". Bundy, who wanted to be a lawyer, stared at the Judge.

"Go ahead Mister Bundy, but your not a Lawyer".

"That is my right".

And Bundy smoothed his way out of jail...again.

V

June 10, 1977

Three days' later, Bundy hiked to the renowned Aspen Mountains. The ski resorts were his new playground to murder girls there.

He wore ski masks, a skivvy, and snow clothes.

And boots.

All of the gear to do his crimes.

In one of the exotic cabins, Bundy stole several items. Then he was preparing for the next stage of his murderous spree.

But, as he did so, the cops were on his tail.

And he was being hunted like John Rambo from David Morrell's 'First Blood' novel, (1972). Except Ted Bundy wasn't a Vietnam Veteran, (and ficticious); Ted Bundy was real, and a psychopath.
