Nina P.O.V

I opened my eyes to see other eyes looking straight at my eyes. "Aaaah!" I screamed and jumped bumping into that person forehead, I hold my forehead and groaned in pain and the other person also groaned in pain. "Nina, you finally woke up!" Aang jumped towards me making me fall backwards. "Hey Aang, how long was I asleep?" I asked as I took him off me and sat up. "all the ride so not long" Aang said. "Oh okay and who was that person I bumped heads with?!" I asked looking at the man who now was better of the injury I gave him. "Sorry about that I was just looking at you because you look like you had a fever, my name is Jet" he reached his hand out and I grabbed as he picked me up and he pulled me into his chest I just blush and pushed him away. "Umm thanks" I said and looked away still blushing a little 'he is not that bad looking' . "Where we at and who are they?" I asked looking around the place. "You are in our hideout and we are the Freedom fighters" Jet said and stared telling some of the guys names "That one right there is Sneers" he pointed to a boy with some type of armor and had a helmet on his head and through his helmet went a stick. "That one is pipsqueak" he pointed to a really huge dude who smiled at me ' doesn't look to pipsqueak to me' I thought. "That one is Duke" he pointed to the little one who look more like a pipsqueak. "Long shot" than he pointed to a boy who had this traditional Chinese hat and a red cape tied around his neck. "and last is smellerbee" he pointed to a boy who had two red marks on each of his cheeks. "Wow those are some interesting names" I said and smellerbee send me a glare 'what did I do to him' I thought. "I bet your hungry come we barely stared our fest" Jet said taking me to a seat beside him.

Beside me was also Katara. "Hey Katara?" I greeted her and she looked at me kind of mad, 'and now what did I do to her?' , jet stood on top of the table holding a drink. " Today, we strike another blow against the fire nation swine" Jet said and everyone cheered. 'What are they talking about?' I asked myself.  "I got a special joy from the look of one soldiers face when The Duke drop down on his helmet and rode him like a wild monkey" the Duke got on top of the table and went on circles while everyone cheered once again. "Now the fire nation thinks they don't have to worry about a couple of kids hiding in the trees maybe they are right" jet said and than the kids "booh!". "Or maybe they are dead wrong" And again the kids cheered. "Hey Jet, nice speech" Katara told Jet as he sat back again between us. "Thanks, by the way I was really impress with you and Aang, that was some great bending I saw out there today" Jet told them. "Well he is great, he is the Avatar, I could use some more training" Katara said blushing I turned around to see a furious Sokka. " Avatar, huh? Very nice" Jet said but the way he said caught my attention. "Thank you, Jet" Aang said. "So I might know a way for you and Aang can help in our struggle" Jet said and Sokka stood furious. "Unfortunately we have to leave tonight" Sokka said walking away and I smirk and in my mind said 'yeah Sokka tell him' . "Sokka your kidding me, I needed you on an important mission tomorrow" That made Sokka step on his tracks. 'Fuck, why he had to say that'  I thought. "What mission?" Sokka asked and I face palmed, I have a bad feeling about this.

We finished eating and we went to our sleeping places. I went to try to talk to Katara now that I know she has a crush on Jet. "I know your secret" I said as I got her attention. "W-what are you t-talking about?" she stutter and blushed. "You like Jet" I whisper in her ear and she squeak. "W-what never, psh never" She blushed. "What ever I know you do and don't worry I don't like him and I won't tell no one" I told her "Nina and don't do fire bend here, Jet doesn't really like fire benders so be careful" Katara warned me and I nodded and walked to my bed and lay on it. I couldn't sleep still thinking of what happen in my last nightmare, I don't want to go through that again. So I stayed all night awake.

It was already morning I stood up and went up to Katara to wake her up but something else caught my attention it was Jet and Sokka leaving the hideout so I decided to follow them. They climb on top of a tree. I go up tree but careful so they don't hear me. Jet made this bird sound with his hands and from the other side was the rest of the group they also whistle back. Sokka stabs the knife in the tree making Jet turn around "what are you doing?". "Shh, it amplifies the vibrations" Sokka said putting his ear by the knife. "Good trick" Jet said, uh I just hate that guy, something he has that I hate. "Nothing yet, wait Jet someone is approaching " Sokka said. "How many?" Jet asked and Sokka answer " I think is just one". Jet whistle for his other team members to get prepare "Good work Sokka, ready your weapon". Sokka pulls out his weapon and than sees who is approaching. "Oh wait false alarm is just an old man" Sokka told him but Jet didn't listen and jumped down in front of the old man. 'Uh that bastard' I thought and I looked at him.  "What are you doing in our woods you lich" Jet told the man. "Please sir I'm just a traveler" the old man said and Jet threw away his crane and pointed his fish hook thing towards the man that scared the old man and ran back but there stood Pipsqueak and the old man bumped into him making him fall backwards, Pipsqueak came closer to the old man and the old man looked more frightened the old man tried to escape but Pipsqueak but his big foot on the old man back. Jet approach him "Do you like destroying towns? Do you like destroying families? Do you?" Jet screamed at the man. "Please let me go have mercy" The old man said and smellerbee came. "Does the fire nation let people go? Does the fire nation have mercy?" Jet said and was about to kick the old man but Sokka jumped in time to stop him.
