Valora POV

"De Hell did you just say?" I asked sounding a little ghetto but I didn't care.

This guy, smoking hot nonetheless, comes in asks for my help than says I was his mate. What the Hell is wrong with his mind?

"You're my mate," he says again.

"Yeah, and you're the tooth fairy," I snap back sarcastically.

"I'm not joking right now Valora. What do I smell like to you?" Jev asked me.

"Really good," I answered without thinking. All the guys chuckled at that. I looked over at Jev and saw him smiling and that's when I noticed his dimple. Oh my great goodness, he has a freaking dimple and an extremely hot accent. What more could I want, I told my self. I took an extra long drink from the whiskey bottle and let the warmth from the drink radiate all through my body.

"Are you even old enough to drink?" one of the males asked me.

"And you are?" I asked avoiding the question.

"Markus, now answer the question," he demanded not unkindly.

"Well, depends on where I am that I am allowed," I answered vaguely, making sure I didn't reveal my age. "Now can we get back on topic, you said something about a monster?" I directed the question towards the alpha dude.

"Actually right now I'm a little more interested in my son's mate," he smiled at me.

I wiggled under all their gazes. Being under the spotlight made me uncomfortable since I wasn't used to it. And it usually meant I did something wrong and I was to be punished.

"Fine," I broke and let them win. "Five questions that's all I'll give you, go."

"Is your real name Valora Shadows?" Markus asked.

"Yes, as far as I know," I answered.

"Do you have a middle name?" he asked.

"Nope."

"How old are you?" Jev asked.

"Seventeen."

They all looked wide eyes and stared opened mouthed at me.

"What?" I asked embarrassed. Everyone always did that when I told them my age.

"How can you be an Assassin when your only seventeen?" the alpha dude asked. "That means you entered training when you were ten. Is that true?"

I couldn't describe the emotion in his eyes, it looked like concern.

I shook my head, "Well yes and no, I did enter Assassin training when I was ten. But I started training when I was four." I did my best to explain knowing it was a bit strange to hear that when I was four I trained to become a killer. "By the way your down to your last question, use it wisely."

"Will you accept me?" Jev asked breaking the dead silence.

"What?" I asked blankly.

A small smile graced his handsome face and I saw that beautiful dimple. I tried to think of any consequences that could surface with us together, but my mind couldn't focus on anything but the thought of us together.

"Will you take the chance to know me and become my mate?" he asked hope written in his dark shining eyes.

"Yes," I answered in a whisper. I might regret it in the future but my mind wouldn't let me focus on anything but the present.

Jev shot out of his seat and picked me from my seat for an embrace. I dropped the whiskey bottle in surprise before slowly wrapping my arms around him. I felt as if we fit perfectly together, like a puzzle piece. Without me knowing it, Jev put his scent on me making sure that if I encountered any other wolf, that wolf would know I was taken.
