I hope that everyone enjoyed the last chapter. I really enjoyed writing this story so far. I look forward to reading your comments.

Brandon

I follow Mia to her home I wonder why she was in such a hurry to get home. From what I have herd she lives alone with a dog. I don't understand why I was sent to protect someone that clearly doesn't want it. I don't even know why I was sent on a case where I barley know anything about the girl, but I don't take kindly to someone stalking a girl. I drive into Mia's driveway. I hurry to park my truck and go to help Mia.

"Look Brandon, we need to talk before we go inside." Says Mia.

"Okay." I say.

"Since you have to be with me at all times you will have to find out sooner or later. This goes no farther than this, do you hear me. If it does, I will have you fired." Mia tells me.

"Okay, I won't say anything." I say wondering what type of secret she was hiding.

"What I am about to tell you only two other people know and that is my best friend and someone that I trust. I hope that I can trust you with this. Forget what you have been about my status and just throw it out the window because it is all wrong." Mia says.

"I don't really know much. Just that you live alone with one dog and that you work for a modeling agency." I say.

"Well some of that is right. I do have a dog and I do work for a modeling agency, but I don't live alone."

"Okay so you live with a family member?" I ask.

"Yes, she is a family member. She is my daughter."

"Daughter? So, I am guessing you live with her father as well?" I ask.

"No, I left when I found out I was pregnant. He said that he didn't want a child. So, I packed my stuff and moved. As far as he knows I had an abortion. I know I should have told him I kept her, but she doesn't need a father in her life that doesn't even want her." Mia said as she put her head down.

"Well what an ass. How old is she?" I ask.

"She will be three in March. You must promise not to tell anyone this. I don't want anything happening to her." Says Mia.

"So that is why you don't want a bodyguard, you're scared that he will tell your secret."

"Yes, I don't know what I would do if someone went after her because of me. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself." Mia said.

"I completely understand Mia. Your secret is safe with me. What is her name?"

"Olivia, we should be getting inside now. I need to get the sitter go." Mia says and turns to walk into her home.

I follow Mia inside. Yet, looking at Mia's home you wouldn't ever guess that a family of two live here. It was a beautiful two-story home to look to fit a family of five and from what I could see it has a couple of acres of land. I can't wait to see it in the day light.

As I walk in Mia is hanging her purse on a hook on the inside of a closet off the entry way. As she is doing this, I close the door and look around quickly. The look from the outside has nothing on the inside. It looks very modern, yet comfy. Like the perfect place to relax on a cold day and read a good book in front of a nice fire.

"Trish I'm home. Sorry that I am so late. We are running a little behind with the shoot and I may be late like this a few more times." Mia says.

"Oh, it's fine Miss Mia. Oliva is no trouble at all. I love watching her, she is an adorable little girl." Trish says as she walks to the door with Mia.
