'Brandi? What a surprise!' I walk in slowly, and I see Melanie and Chelsea sitting on the ground, staring at me. I see my little black book in Chelsea's hand. I slowly walk to her, and grab my book.

'It's not what you think, I didn't steal it!' says Chelsea. I walk to the window, and turn around.

'Who read it?' They all look at each other, no one moves.

'I said, who read it?!' All their hands go up, and I feel something break inside. I grab a vase, and smash it to the floor. They all look at me, with fear in their eyes. Ashley slowly walks back to the others, and sits down. Melanie has that face on her, when she knows she was right about something. It really annoys me sometimes.

'We're so sorry', says Chelsea.

'I'm not. You could tell us these things, we're friends Bran', says Melanie.

'Friends? Friends! You girls don't even know the meaning of that word. If we were friends, you wouldn't have read my book without my permission, am I right?' They nod, and I feel my power coming back.

'I think you deserve a punishment, don't you think?' They look at me, with their eyes wide open, and I hear myself laughing.

That first page was all about that guy, if you remember it from the first chapter. He wanted to humiliate me, and I did it back. I guess they were shocked about it, but it's not as bad as what happened after that. I saw that boy once again, and he was angry, ready to take his revenge. He walked to me, and had a baseball bat in his right hand.

'Do you still remember me?' I turned around, and it was him, the guy with the big muscles who threw me in the dirty water that day. I saw that his muscles had grown bigger, and he looked better in shape. I felt something in my body, but I couldn't name it. It felt like fear, but I wasn't scared, I never was.

'What do you want?'

'I want to fight with you, until the last one stands.'

'How?'  He hit me with his bat, and I felt down.

'I won, even though I didn't even have to use my energy!' He did a little dance, and when he was distracted, I grabbed the bat and hit him on his head. He collapsed, and at first I was happy, but as soon as I saw that he didn't breath anymore, I kind of panicked. I ran away, and burned the bat when I got home. I was praying they wouldn't find my DNA, but I've never heard something in those two years...

'What do you mean by punishment?' asks Chelsea.

'Do you really think I believe you only read the first page?'

'We did, I swear!' Chelsea starts to cry, and I grab her hair.

'Stop being a baby.' Chelsea stops crying, and I let her go. She looks at me like I'm a monster, and that's exactly how I like it. I see Ashley looking around, trying to find a weapon. I stare at her, trying to predict what she's going to do. But she does nothing, she just keeps looking around. I know she knows that I'm staring at her.

'I just want to ask you one question', says Melanie.

'Go ahead.'

'Is there something in that book, which you don't want to tell us? Something bad?' Damn, I hate it when she's so smart. It's like she can read my thoughts, my fear. I don't want anyone to know what happened with that guy. I've never heard anything about him, and I'm glad it stays like that. I don't want to tell the police what happened, I'm not made for prison.

'Maybe there is, but you'll never find out.'

'We want to help you Brandi, you can't live like this. You have a secret deep inside you, and I know you want to share it, but you're afraid. We won't judge you; we won't do something you don't want us to. We'll listen to you, and we won't say anything.' Is she speaking the truth? Or is it just a way to hear me out and to call the police to keep her safe? I'm confused...
