My eyes slowly began to open once again. I blinked once as I looked up. My eyes saw bright gold eyes staring back down at me. I blinked again, and they we're still there. My eyes slowly started to focus as I saw a face looking down at me with a worried look.
"You're okay...?" There person looking at me asked.

"Um..." I said. "I think?" I looked around, and I was still in my room. "Who are you?" I said as I slowly realised that this person was nobody that I knew. "And why are you in my house?!"

They just tilted their head. "But you're the person who brought me here," they said, front you remember?"
I just looked at them before I slowly began to get up, at that moment, I realised that they were leaning over me with a hand on my chest. "Hey, can you let me up please?" I said to them. "And also explain how I brought you here, I was here all night."

They slowly nodded before getting up and off of my bed, I slowly sat up and got out of my bed, where I was able to fully see that this person was a girl. She had raven black hair tied back into a pony tail with a crimson ribbon, her hair reached down a bit past her shoulder blades and even when it was in the pony tail, a few strands we're still in front of her eyes, going down to her cheeks. She was wearing a white long sleeved shirt and light gray pants, over her shirt she was wearing a piece of silver armor over her chest and shoulders, along with two pieces of armor on her hips and arms. She also had on silver boots that went up to her knees.

"My name is Ella, and I'm here because you summoned me here." She said.
"I did?" I asked. "How?" She looked over at me then pointed at the Book of Reality. "With that, of course." She said. "Do you remember now?" I slowly looked to the book then back to her.

"Is this some kind of joke?" I asked. Ella just tilted her head.
"Joke?" She asked, looking confused.
"You're telling me that reading a book brought you here?" I asked, my eyes narrowing at her. "Something like that is impossible."

"No," she said, "because I'm here now, is that not enough proof?" I sighed and looked down. "Then why are you here?" I asked her. She just looked at me for a few seconds. "Because I'm here to protect you," she said, "I'll always protect you... From this day until I die." I just looked at her.
"Why?" I asked.

"Because I have to." She said while stepping forwards a bit. "It's why I was born, the only reason I'm even here." I stepped back and just looked at her with a shocked look on my face.

"I'll do anything you tell me to do," she said, "I'll protect you, even if it costs me my life." She stepped forwards again. "You're the most important person in my life, Matt."
I looked at her.

"...How do you know my name?" I asked, backing up again and bumping into my wall.
"As I've said, I was born to protect you." She said. "I've known you my whole life, but you've never been able to see me... Not until today, at least." She stepped forwards again, and quickly pulled me into a hug. "I've wanted to be able to talk to you for so long now I've lost count of all the days it's been since I-" she was cut off by the noise of her stomach growling. I sighed.
"You're hungry, huh?" I asked her, while freeing myself from her hug.

"Yes..." She said. "I am." I looked at her for a few seconds. "Go wait down stairs, I'll be down I'm a second to make something to eat. She nodded before walking over to the door and outside of my room.

I walked over to my closet and began to pull out clothes for myself to wear. I put on a dark red shirt with a black button up shirt over it, leaving the top three buttons unbuttoned, then put on a pair of dark jeans, I then looked into the mirror, seeing my reflection, I moved a bit of light brown hair from in front of my light blue eyes then shrugged. 'I guess this will do for today...' I then walked out of my room and slowly walked downstairs and saw Ella patiently waiting, sitting down on a chair with her hands in her lap. I walked over to the kitchen and looked back at her. "Is there anything that you want?" I asked her. She just looked at me. "Anything is fine, thank you." She said. I shrugged and began to make eggs and sausages. As I was cooking, I noticed that Ella was still just staring at me before she opened her mouth and began to talk. "Are you here alone?" She asked me. I looked at her for a bit and continued cooking.

"No, my parents are out on a trip for business, and my brother is normally gone until late, then by the time he's back, I'm sleep or studying." I said. "I hardly get to talk to him that much anymore." She slowly nodded before looking down to the food.
"I'm almost done, don't worry." I said, she just nodded again.

After a bit I finished cooking and placed a plate of food in front of her, I then sat down across from her as she began to eat. And then it hit me. "Wait, so I'm guessing you have nowhere to go, right?" I asked her. She looked at me and nodded before swallowing the food that was in her mouth. "I planned on just staying here with you." She said then began to eat again. "Ah..." I said, while looking up for a second. "Wait. How am I supposed to explain you to my parents and brother?" I asked her, practically shouting the words. "I can't just tell them that I used magic to summon her so she can protect me from whatever it is that she needs to protect me from! They would think I'm deffinately crazy, or hiding something!" Ella just looked at me then shrugged.

"I'm not sure what to say then. There's not much else I could think of saying." I sighed.
As I was about to say something back to her, the doorbell rang, as I slowly remembered that I had promised my friends I would go out with them today. 'Great... Things just keep getting better, don't they?'
