My body was numb as I stood up on my feet. Just two. Feet. Foot, like with toes and... What's wrong with my body? Uh, this isn't normal.
"Lyra... Lyra!"
"Ugh... Five more minutes?" She moaned out.
I reached out and touched her forehead, and she woke up quickly. "Lyra, we have a problem."
"Uh... I'm a person!" She squealed with glee.
"And so am I... But eh... I'm a woman." I pointed to my chest.
"But..." She made a noise like 'pfft' and looked at me. "What's the big deal?"
"Um, maybe the fact that last time I remember, I had... Not..." I gestured with my hands. (Improvise this, I don't wanna explain what he did.)
"Uh... But at least you're a person! And so am I!" She full-on kissed me. She reeled back, blushing. "I... Sorry about that. Last time you were a person, we were dating. And a guy. But that second part doesn't matter much."
"Why did I leave you?" I asked. My mind was drawing on a blank.
"I... Don't exactly know. Simple enough that you left me for Twilight, but I don't know why."
"Neither do I... Who is Twilight? You and Trixie both seem to dislike her."
"You don't know who Twilight is? Explain that to me please? How do you not know who you're dating?"
"I thought I was with Trixie, that's what I was told."
"Uh... Maybe?" She shook her hand in a 50/50-type motion.
"Uh... Why do you still have a horn?" I asked.
"I was a unicorn, now I must be a hu-nicorn."
"No... Please don't make the puns. I still have wings too, so that can't be bad. I can still try to fly, or at least do the whole wing-hug thing. Meh... I just don't know, maybe it would be better if I was a pony still."
"But humans are so much cooler! And remember, now you gotta eat meat again. So do I..." Her stomach rumbled. "Hungry?"
My stomach growled, very loudly. It was like it was completely empty, no food at all.
"Yeah, I could eat. Well... I need to eat."
"Maybe we could get dinner together?" She mumbled.
"I'd like that... But I don't have any money, or any clothes." I looked awkwardly at my naked body. The body of a woman. I'm gonna have to get used to this.
"I can help with both of those."
She quickly dressed both of us, but the clothes were awkward, not made for people. I'm also not okay with the idea of a dress, but its the only thing that would fit. A dark grey dress. Wow. All she could manage to find to fit me, and it's a dress.
"Thanks for the clothes. But can we go now?"____________
(Have you figured the things out yet? A "***" means POV switch, and ______ Means scene change, but same POV.)
"Wow, this all looks so amazing, but I'm not sure what to get." Lyra said, sitting across from me at the booth.
"I'm just gonna get this... Salad thing. It's got a silly name, the Carousel Special."
"Rarity's special salad, the one she gets. I think I'm gonna have to get the same thing."
I shrugged, 'Doesn't matter to me.' "Okay, so... Can you tell me about me?"
"S-Sure, what do you want to know?"
"Who was I really dating? Really, like honestly?" My now slightly-feminine voice rang out.
"You were dating Fluttershy, then Twilight, then me, then Twilight, and then apparently Trixie."
"Well... Trixie's nice and all, but it wouldn't work out. She's just kinda... Not my type, and now I'm a person, so she wouldn't date me."
"There are still some who would date you." She calmly smiled.
"Yeah... Trixie said Twilight kicked me out. Which makes sense. But uh... That doesn't leave anypony I know about." to
"Don't think about ponies then."
"Well, then... Uh... Changelings?" I shrugged.
"Nope."
"Gryphons?" What's a gryphon? All I know is its some kind of living thing.
"Nope."
"Hmm... People?" She nodded.
"But you're the only person here. And I must have hurt you."
"Nah, I figured you'd come back. And yeah. Me, I still like ya."
I smiled, "What's your name again?"
"Lyra Heartstrings."
I nodded, "I'm... Garret? Uh... Ander... Something."
"Anderson. Garret H. Anderson."
"Uh... Yeah. That. Maybe I could uh... Be with you." I smiled, "That must sound pathetic."
"That's pretty normal for your standards. You've never been one to say anything really flirtatious. You just kinda say what needs give said, and go from there."
"Cool. It sounds like how I would do it... But you're a girl, and so am I now. That's lesbianism..."
"So? Love is love!"
"I... Lesbians..."
"Yeah, lesbians. Now we're like Applejack and Rainbow Dash."
"Who are they?"
"Close friends. They're lesbians."
"Cool, I've got close friends, that are lesbians." (Jeezus, can we say it any more? Four so far!)
"Yep. And now you're one too. Because even if you don't date me, you're gonna be with a girl."
"Lyra... I think I do like you, actually I know I like you, but I'm not sure about... All of this."
"Wow... Thanks?"
"Yeah... You already sealed your fate with that one. You said I'm a flat-out kinda gu-... Girl."
"Yeah... Lovely. Now I gotta deal with that." Lyra moaned.
"Because I'm just such a terrible person?"
"No... You were actually one of the best points of my life."
"Your life? Explain. From the beginning."
"Well, from square one:
I was born and raised here in Ponyville. Love it or leave it, Ponyville's a nice place. Humans have always been a fascination of mine, but I'd never seen one in the flesh 'till you came along, then I freaked out. I kidnapped you. All kinds of-"
"This sounds very recent."
"Boring life."
"Ah... Well I guess we'll just have to change that one."
"What'd you have in mind?"
"We could totally just... Do something exciting!"
"Like what?"
"Well... I don't know..."
"Oooh! Nightmare Night is in a couple weeks! We could totally do that."
"Nightmare Night?"
"Everypony dresses up! Candy and Treats and Pranks and fun stuff!"
"Candy and Pranks... I think I remember somepony who would love Nightmare Night, but I'm not sure."
"Yeah, you have a friend named Pinkie Pie who just loved Nightmare Night."
"Thought so, but anyways, enough about Nightmare Night... Lets get some food, I'm starving!" I said.
"Sure, sure."
