Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth: humans and monsters. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell.

You awake to see that you are lying on a bed of flowers, the same flowers you have seen on the surface. You decide to stand up and look around you to get to know the place. You look at your body, and you notice that you didn't take any damage after the fall. Looking around you, you see a familiar face laying down next to you. It is your friend [fill in name here] You wonder how the flowers felt like falling on pillows down here and hurt so badly on the surface. After you and your friend finish walking around the room, you decide to walk through the only pathway leaving the room.

You both hear a voice, and both of you remember hearing a voice like that when you were younger. The voice told you to look to your left, and then you see a flower, like the one that you drew and showed your friend when you were a little kid. The flower says "Howdy, I'm Flowey, Flowey the Flower" You wonder why Flowey is the only flower that can talk. Flowey decides to help you learn how to survive the underground, and to do that, he gives you some of his "friendliness pellets". You decide to take one of the friendliness pellets and that just makes Flowey mad. He angrily says, "YOU IDIOTS... IN THIS WORLD, IT'S KILL OR BE KILLED". Flowey decides to show you how the underground works, but not before a fireball comes and shoots him out of the frame, luckily before he killed both of you.

You see a goat wearing a dress walking onto your screen, and she tells you that everything will be ok. You leave the battle and walk with her through the ruins. You find out that her name is Toriel and she want to help save humans that fall down before he can get to them.

She asks both of you to practice on a dummy and talk to it, and that's exactly what you do, but your friend decides to hit it. She is proud of you, but upset with your friend, and helps you with the puzzles that are in the ruins. After a few puzzles she wants you to walk to the end of a hallway alone, and you are determined to do it. After you finish, she gives you a phone to contact her with. Your friend just deletes their contact of her, but you keep it to stay in touch. She asks you to stay were you are, but both of you just want to explore. Before you leave the room, she calls and asks what kind of pie you like.
