*******Emeric's POV*******
What would you do if your little sis is kissing someone? Bust her right?

"What was that all about?" I asked Megan, trying not to sound overprotective.

"Nothing, it was just a kiss," she replied nonchalantly. Just a kiss? Sure, and when she is engaged, it will be 'oh, it's just a proposal.'  I brought out my dice of weapons and rolled it. It landed on a knife, so it turned into a Celestial Bronze knife. The air cracked with electricity, since my dad made all my weapons electrical. I drove my knife into the nearest object, which so happened to be the cabin wall. The whole electrical power in the cabin went out. Some Aphrodite kids came out cussing that I stopped the power during their blow-drying session. My vision became hazy and I walked into the side of the cabin.

"Emeric!" My sister screamed. And I was out like a light.

******************

I woke up to the taste of my mom's homemade lasagna. Man, do I love that stuff. Then with my knowledge of demigod items, I knew that I was drinking nectar. I looked around and found myself in the infirmary. My dad was next to the bedside table. Finally! That took long enough. He looked weary.

"Took you long enough, it's almost time for Capture the Flag," my dad said. Capture the Flag? Isn't it on Friday? Wait a second, how long was I out? "You've been out for three days, how are you feeling?" he said like he could read my thoughts.

"Uhh… fine. I think that I could participate today. So, who's against who?" I asked.

"Hermes, Hecate and the other minor gods are against the other Olympians and Hades. We're on the Blue Team, with the Athena cabin leading," He replied. I pouted. Why do they have to always lead? I was happy enough, since my buddies are on the same team as me.

*****************

I tightened armor and placed the blue plume on my helmet. Pallas told us the strategy for crushing the pulp out of them.

Since I was great in combat, I was on the offensive side. Neina and Narissa were with me too. Chiron blew the whistle and it was time to capture a flag.

" Perge!(Onward!)" Pallas yelled in Latin. Our parents looked on expectantly, making it more stressful to ensure our victory. Neina, Narissa, and I marched through the trees to hide our progress. We were almost there when this daughter of Hecate stopped us. I remembered her name from the first night I was here.

"Telstra, what are you doing?" I asked her, trying to sound like we weren't on different teams. Her expression told otherwise.

"Making sure no stupid blues go near my freaking flag, Grace," she replied while trying to look intimidating. What's wrong with 'go away'? Neina pulled out her knife and struck the ground. She mumbled something in Latin and dead warriors rose from the ground. I rolled my dice and it landed on my Celestial Bronze sword while Narissa drew out her sword too. I swung at Telstra while she used some spell to block the attack. As I got her preoccupied, the dead warriors charged toward her, and knocked her out with the blunt part of their swords.

The three of us ran away from her unconscious body, and toward the flag. Apparently, the reds didn't think much about their defense, because there was no one else protecting the flag. We grabbed the flag off Zeus's Fist and ran toward the creek. We avoided the small battle, and were a few feet from the creek, when someone blocked our path. Narissa used the river water to make a tidal wave to crash into him. He reacted by using rainbow power on her.

"Run, and cross the creek!" Narissa cried while fighting the Iris kid. I followed her wish and ran before any other reds found out what was happening. I crossed the creek as Chiron blew the whistle signaling the end of the game. We won!!! Our parents grabbed us for a group hug. It felt good to have my sister hug me after the incident. We all went to our cabins to sleep. Only one more week until school starts.

°°°°Dream°°°°

"I don't want to fight a God!" Sebastian screamed at Neina, who looked like she wanted to cry. "They are all so stupid for asking us to do their dirty work, and then thank us by destroying the well-deserved peace our parents risked their lives for."

"That doesn't mean that you should abandon me… I mean us," Neina replied, trying to hold back her tears. How could he hurt her like that? I thought he loved her! "If you won't defeat Ares, then I will," She said to indicate her decision was final. She stepped in front of the rest of us and went to fight the servant of the war God. Dream Me couldn't see how the battle was going, but she was knocked back into me and I could see blood spilling from a cut on her arm: her fighting arm. I wanted to go up there and help, but my legs felt like jelly. Then Neina fell onto the ground unconscious and the servant had his knife over her head to take the final blow…

°°°°Dream End°°°°

I woke up in cold sweat. I don't know what that whole scene meant, but I knew one thing. Neina DiAngelo might die on this quest…
