I walked nervously around the school campus, my grip on the school map tightening as my heart sped up in fear of having a bad first impression. I turned my head around a few times as I soon came to the realization that I have passed the same tree at least 9 times. I sighed and tried to make more sense of the school map before I felt hand on my shoulder. I whipped my head behind me in surprise as my eyes met the chest of a hooded person.

"O-oh! Sorry..." I mumbled, looking down in embarrassment.

"Office is down the corner to your left" he said as I looked into his mixed color eyes. "How long do you plan to stand in my way?" He sternly said. I hesitated and then moved. He walked up the stairs and disappeared from my sight.

"Right, office that way!" I walked to the office as quickly as I could and found it.

~at the office~

"Akagawa am I correct?" One of the assistants by the counter said as I turned my head to their direction. "Yes that's me!" I nervously shout.

"Ok then..." The assistant replied, turning away to grab some papers before handing them to me.

"Please go down the hallway to your left to take your I.D photo. Then you can head to the library and get started!" She said, pointing to a hallway with a smile.

After I had gotten my picture taken, I headed to the library as I was told to and walked around. Since the equipment there was the same as the old library I worked at, I got the hang of things fairly quickly. I walked around a bit more to see where how the books were sorted and made a mental note to myself where to find what author or book. As I was walking, I heard the faint sound of the library door opening and looked up to see the hooded boy that I ran into earlier.

"u-um, hey! Class started. You should go"

He ignored me...

I sighed and walked over to him and tapped his shoulder, causing him to jolt up in surprise. His hood fell back to reveal his headphone and... Fox ears?...

"Can I help you?" He said as he slowly took off his head phones.

"U-umm.." I shuddered...fox ears? Wait that's not important right now. Why is he here?

"I'd like it if you'd stop staring at me like that." I blinked as he snapped his fingers in front of my face. "A-ah, oh should you be in class?" He then stayed quiet.

"Oh, they didn't tell you? I usually ditch class and the teachers and staff don't care if I do. The students usually think I'm a distraction." He explained. Wait the teachers didn't care if he wondered around. Should I care?...

"If you are gonna lecture me that I need to study, don't bother. I have good grades and that I already have a part time job that pays very well so don't say anything" he then walked past me and laid down on the couch.

"I-I see... But may I ask why?" I said, turning around.

"Why what" he replied, not bothering to look at me.

"Why do they think you are a distraction?" I said, walking up to the couch and putting my head over his, preventing him from looking at the roof and forcing him to look at me.

"..." He stayed silent and looked in to my eyes, his eyes showing how annoyed he was.

"Hm?" I asked, tilting my head. He then grabbed my scarf.
