The week that followed was tiring. Ruki kept filming everyday, also planning the upcoming album while Rin got a call about an anime that needed a voice actress and started going to the studio as well. Good thing was that they still managed to find some time to spend together, between breaks or late at night they would usually sleep together. Haruto was still trying to find ways to win Rin's heart but it was fruitless. The woman was deeply and madly in love with Ruki who threw her off her feet, day by day.
Now day Sunday, the couple was taking a break. Rin was sleeping, the only sound in the room was her quiet breathing. She was rolled on her side, wearing a pair of her own sweatpants and one of Ruki's T-shirts, the young woman dreamt of the future. Something sticky suddenly touched her cheek, making her cringe and curl deeper under the blankets. The sticky substance made her cheek cold as a small wind blew against it.
"Yamero." She lazily mumbled, though a chuckle made her pry her eyes open. Ruki was holding Koron in his arms, the dog fighting against his owner to get back to Rin. "So you woke me up, huh?" Rin rubbed her eye sleepily and sat up stretching her arms to get Koron. The dog quickly jumped on her lap, barking happily at her face.
"Good morning beautiful." Ruki smiled and leaned down, pressing his lips against her small forehead. "I made some breakfast. Come on get up." His minty breath gently blew against her face making her sigh in relaxation. Rin let Koron down on the ground and stood up, dragging her still sleepy body towards the living room and up the stairs towards the table. The table was set neatly, with Tamagoyaki which consisted of rolled omelet and steamed rice. The young woman took a seat, Ruki sitting in front of her and they both pressed their palms together and synchronized said 'itadakimasu' and dug in. They ate in a comfortable silence, stealing glances at each other from time to time.
"Are you staying here tonight as well?"
"If you want to."
"Of course I want to." The man snorted as he popped some omelet in his mouth. "I just wanted to inform you that the guys are coming over for a movie and drinks." Rin nodded and couldn't help the pride that swelled inside her. She hadn't spent much time with his friends, which meant getting to know them; she only had met them a few times and then she still stayed glued by Ruki's side. That meant that he wanted her to meet his friends.
"I'll just drop by my house a few hours. I invited my mother for lunch because I haven't seen her all week with the work and all."
Ruki nodded and stayed quiet. A question was bugging him for a while but it seemed rude to ask. But his curiosity got the best out of him and before he knew it, he blurted out the question that bothered him for more than a week. "Does she know about us?" Rin looked up at him, quietly chewing her mouthful of steamed rice, wanting to prolong the answer a little bit more. She was kind of worried; maybe he didn't want her parents know about this. Maybe he would be delighted. But the former was more logical in her head. However instead of lying she went with the truth.
"Yes she does." A warm smile spread on Ruki's lips as he looked down at his food, taking a spoonful of his omelet. Relief swept through the woman making her grin and playfully kick his shin.
"I'll do some cleaning here while you're gone alright?"
"I can do it when I get back."
"Nope, you need to relax after all that work you've been through." Ruki scolded but all he got back was a flat look because he practically died a little bit inside, during this week. The filming was exhausting and when they were done for the day, he didn't even have the strength to go back home. "It's okay, I won't do all the house. Mostly the kitchen and living room since the others will come tonight. Okay and a little bit of the bedroom since we sleep there. Oh and the bathroom; it needs to be clean." A giggle left Rin's lips at how he started of with cleaning the one fourth of his house but ended up wanting to do all of it. But she couldn't bother arguing. Ruki was stubborn and changing his mind would be close to impossible. Besides he was a neat freak so that made it all the more tiring in bribing him somehow to drop the housework.
