Chapter 10

N A R U T O

I groan as I wake up. My back was soar and seeing Sasuke sleeping peacefully made me frustrated. I get up get freshen up. I enter the kitchen wondering what can be made to feed two cranky and one sweet stomach along with me. I rummage through the shelves for ideas.

"Naruto-kun." A very familiar voice calls.

I stop my actions and look at her. She was standing inside the kitchen looking at me with sleepy eyes.

"Morning!" I say waving my hand awkwardly.

She stares at me for a while and then her eyes suddenly widen and she starts to freak out.

"Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit." she runs to hall.

What the hell?!

I follow her to see she is already looking for her shoes.

"What are you doing?" I ask but she pays me no attention.

I let out a frustrated sigh and grab her by the shoulders and force her to look at me.

"What are you doing?" I ask her again, slowly and maintaining my calm.

"N-Neji doesn't know I am here." she says still tense from my touch.

Ohh.

"No worries. Sasuke texted him you were staying over at his house." I explain smiling.

She nods, thankfully, understanding why I didn't tell the truth about her staying over at my place.

"Thanks for letting me stay the night. What were you doing in the kitchen?"

"Oh I was looking for something to prepare for breakfast. I am out of cereal." I say letting out a sigh.

"I can help you with that." She says smiling brightly.

"What's on your mind?" I ask her, grinning.

"Let's make a deal."

I look at her puzzled.

"Um. Okay?"

"I teach you to make something and in return you.... teach me to umm-drive or ride?!" she adds hesitantly.

"Drive... like a car?" I ask her

"No I know how to drive a car. I want to ride a motorbike." she says smiling a bit.

I stay silent, not sure.

"I kind of get the feeling to ride when I see Sasuke's bike. I have sort of a bucket list" she says smiling shyly.

"Then I guess it can be arranged. I will teach you to ride a bike." I say grinning.

"How does cinnamon rolls sound?" She asks grinning back.

I wake up in an unknown bed. I squint my eyes from the bright sunlight.

I look around the room in confusion.

Where the hell am I?

I get off the bed and wander around till I reach the sitting room. I see Sasuke sleeping peacefully. He looked cute and adorable.

I sniff a delicious aroma and follow it to the kitchen.

I smile at the sight. Hinata and Naruto were joking around, laughing and it seemed like Hinata was teaching him to cook.

They didn't notice me and I had no intention to reveal myself and intruding their party. I slip out my phone and click a picture.

I go back to the sitting room and plop on the bean bag beside the couch. I glance through my notifications and subconsciously my hand find its way to Sasuke's raven hair.

It's so soft and smooth.

"I don't appreciate people playing with my hair, especially when I am sleeping. It's kinda creepy." Sasuke says and then looks at me amused.

I retract my hand quickly and heat rushes to my face.

"No it's not creepy!!" I say all flustered. "And besides, I don't come in people category. I come in special people category cause I am your friend."

Suddenly he leans forward and I freeze at the proximity.

"Special people huh. That's acceptable. You are a special person." He whispers and then turns to lay down and closes his eyes like nothing happened.

Yeah nothing happened but a lot happened at the same time. Does that make sense?

I turn to see Naruto grinning like a Cheshire cat and Hinata beside him smiling at us. For the second time in 5 minutes, my face heats up again.

"Special people huh. That's acceptable. You are a special person."

What the hell was that? Are you insane saying that out loud. Before you know it she is back at her apartment breaking her friendship with you. What the hell were you thinking Sasuke?

My eyes are closed as I think of my sudden outburst of creepy romance.

Everything is silent. I know Naruto is here. I can sense his idiotic presence. My phone starts ringing suddenly. I fake groan and pick it up.

"Hello."

"..."

"Hello?"

"..."

"Someone there?" I ask massaging my temples, my eyes closed.

"....Sasuke..."

My eyes snap open. My  face becomes hard with anger.

"Are you okay?" Someone beside me asks.

I was ready to lash out but when I see who it is, my face softens and I nod. I hang up without any word. I catch Naruto looking at me trying to figure out what happened and I gave him a blank look.

"Can we eat?" I change the topic.

Sakura nods and gets up from beside me.

After we have all freshened up and eaten our fill the girls decide that we should go home and meet up again tonight for our get together at the club.

"You just met last week. You do this every week?" Naruto asks puzzled.

"No. A lot of people who were not there last week will come this week."

He had this amazed look on his face. We shake our heads, grinning at his amazed face.

His face falls.

"Umm....I will take a rain check this time. You all catch up." He gives a short smile.

I give him a weird look. He shrugs and I realize he doesn't want any drama with Neji and Kiba. He told me everything about them irritating him and his incredible self control for not doing anything about it.

"You are coming." Hinata states plainly.

"But I am...."

"No you are not. It's because of Neji isn't it? Well I don't know you are coming."

"Yeah. Neji can just suck it up. I introduced you to the group and they like you. He can deal with it or else I will have to have a talk with him." I say gaining surprised looks from everyone in the room.

Fortunately the bell rings and I volunteer quickly to open the door.

"What's up kid?!" The man grets me ruffling my hair and I stand there surprised.

"Who's it Sasuke?" Naruto asks and stops surprised.

"What's up?!" Jiraya says grinning at his godson as he groans.
