ALEXANDRIA'S POV:

Okay, I might have forgotten to tell you something. I am so sorry, but Cindy has had a bad past.

She was adopted by a couple who weren't able to have a baby. She was found by some Non governmental Organisation who were all about infant mortality and stuff related to that.

She was only 3 and a half when her parents died, or that was what her aunt had informed her. But she truly believed that it was a planned murder.

Though she is happy with her family right now, she was always eager to learn more about her biological parents death.

Her adoptive parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, always tried to make her feel better. They weren't rich, but neither were they poor. But, they had some trouble in standing up to the mark in money matters related to Cindy.

That's why, she works in a coffee house on weekdays. She earns for not only completing her wishes but also her parents. She also hired a detective to find out about her biological parents death and her aunt.

According to her, if her parents died, then all her wealth and riches would have gone to her aunt and they had a lot of trust on her. Only when she would be 18 would all of that be hers.

Her aunt, therefore, killed her biological parents and sent her to this Association saying that she had found Cindy outside the Church and brought her there.

Even she was happy that she would no longer have to live with her aunts family. Supposedly, her aunt used to beat the crap out of her and what else would a 3 year want more than better people around.

She never once cared of her money, and doesn't remember her actual parents much, but knows that they were rich. Also, her change of last name means that she would not get her family's wealth ever.

Hence, I conclude saying that she was, or rather is, persistent about sending her aunt and her family behind the bars.

So here we are, in Starbucks, missing our classes and I am trying to calm her down.

People passing by are giving us strange looks, but I couldn't care less. I am sitting right in front of her and trying to calm her down.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay. You crying is not gonna help one bit. Calm down." I said. As I had mentioned before, she doesn't cry usually.

She starts sobbing even more. Urg... I was never good with words and consoling.

I dragged my chair next to hers, to offer her a shoulder to weep on and hug her.

Soon, people started giving us wierd looks. Maybe, we aren't allowed to drag the chairs here, but I just give them a stink eye which gave them the message to shut the f*ck up and look anywhere else but at us. And it worked as usual. I can be quite intimidating if I want.

"Honey, please calm down. Look, at that baby their. Well, not baby, but that cute girl. You know what I mean right? So look at her, she is so cute and looking at you so adorably. Shush....." I said. I really didn't know what else to say.

"Yes... You know what, you suck at this, so just forget it. I'll be fine." she replied.

I chuckled. " You know I am here right? You can tell me if you want." I told her.

"Yeah, just gimme a moment." she said. I didn't know what to say so I just kept quiet, letting her continue sobbing on my shoulder.

After about another 10 minutes or so, she began.

"Okay, so this is what happened. Recently, I have been wanting to know more about my biological parents. I know you know this. So yeah, they were trying their best to find out whether Rosa is related to their death. By the way, they are the new detectives I have.... Kinda.... You know, hired." Rosa is her aunts name, it might have slipped out of my mind if I hadn't told that before.

"Okay, so what happened then?" I asked her.

"Yeah, so they had sent a lady as her neighbour. They said, best friends can dig into deep deep secrets and that if the lady detective befriends her, we might get something out of her.

I highly doubted this but thought why not? Let's give it a try. We might actually find something. After all, something is better than nothing." she paused, taking a deep breath, coffee long forgotten.

"And you know what they found out?" she continued. "They are saying that -" suddenly, she stopped. Abruptly. Very, very.

I looked at what she saw and guess who I found near the door? Our own, the mighty, Blake Anderson.

Also, to add up to that, the whole of Starbucks had to suddenly shut up. The people I mean. They just stood there, or maybe sat there, looking at him. The other girls who were bunking their classes were staring at him as if he was a candy that all of them can lick. Ew.... Gross.

' It was your own imagination, brainy.' oh Mindy, you just had to come in the scene right now.

A/N: Sorry for such an abrupt ending. I want to give you all an important message - my exams are starting soon which means that the updates are gonna be slower. Which is only why after exams, I would be updating fast. Please do not leave the book. Thank you for your cooperation.
