ALEXANDRIA'S POV :We all wish many things. But life has it's own ways. Most of the times, atleast for me, it never gave me what I wanted. After all, life is all about compromises. So I compromise. I don't kill Blake.
Even after asking him where we're going a million times, he stayed persistent on not telling me. I feel so damn frustrated. It's been 32 hours and we're yet in the car with Blake driving towards our destination.
"How much more time? Where are we going?" I asked him for what seemed like the billionth time
"Oh god! Would you shut up for atleast 5 minutes? It's barely been half an hour, damn it. Have some patience." he he responded.
Okay I might have been exaggerating a bit. Oh come on, it feels like hours passed already...
'Or it might just be you over excited ' exclaimed Mindy, just popping out of nowhere. Humph.... I might just ignore you, sweetheart.
Finally after what seemed like a week later we reached a building like looking... Well, building. This is where my date is? Really? Maybe it has something fun inside. Also Blake mentioned about meeting someone. Maybe that person - hope it's a person and not someone like a puppy - lived here? You never know...
Following Blake out of the car, we together entered the building. Blake pressed the number 19 in the lift, once we entered it.
When the doors opened, what I saw left me completely shocked. I had no words left. First, I felt shocked of course, but then I felt confused as to why we were here out of all the places. I mean Blake could have taken me to a park, beach, f*ck maybe even an illegal fight club, but here?
I stopped to look at him, questioning him with my eyes, eyebrows furrowed. He just looked back at me and smiled. Nodding his head, he started walking towards the door, pulling me along with him. All this while only one thought was running in my mind, why are we here?
We entered the arena or whatever you call it. Basically it was just a bullet proof glass covered room, inside which people were practicing how to shoot with actual f*cking guns. What the f*cking hell?
"After I realised that Robesphirre was behind me, and I had nobody looking after me-since my mom was in or rather is in coma-our neighbour used to keep an eye on me." Blake started, but I wondered why he went in his past all of a sudden. But I let him continue, nodding my head and showing him that I was paying full attention.
"He was a polis officer back then. So he had a gun. He would teach me how to use it for self protection whenever he was free. He taught me to aim properly too. So even after shifting places for so long, I kept in touch with him. When I told him that I had shifted here, he informed me that he had opened a training centre for shooting here too and was personally teaching a few people."
"Oookay... So I get it that he is an important person in your life, but what I don't get is that why are we here on a date?" I asked, trying to soak in the bit of information he provided me with.
"Um... I don't know why we're here on a date but I would like you to... Uh... Learn how to use, you know, a gun, just in case. You could keep a gun so if someone tries to attack you, I'll know you know how to defend yourself without any chances of getting hurt." he tried to reason me.
To say I was stunned would have been an understatement since I was literally in no position to even speak. I didn't know if he was so stupid to get me here as a date, or caring enough to make me feel strong yet protect me. Whatever it was, I realised one thing for sure. I was falling for Blake even more. Oh Blake, catch me before I helplessly and hopelessly fall for you.
