So, This Is How It Begins?

Jack, Brianna and I were all at her house. We recounted Brianna about what happened she freaked out, obviously. Confused by what Jack and I had told her she badgered us with a lot of questions that we weren't prepared for. "I don't know Brianna it was all so quick, I don't know how or what happened" I answered. "I'm nervous guys, he's dangerous what if he saw your faces, did he see your faces!? Does he know what you look like? Do you think he'll come back?" Brianna spoke quickly and frantically; she was worried for us. Brianna is usually free-spirited and fun-loving but when it comes to friends, she will always look out for them. "I don't know Brianna he, it, whatever it was, was gone as soon as the ice formed" I responded. "Also, in our defense" Jack added, "There were flames, smoke and debris everywhere it was hard to see anything there." "Ok, so you're saying it would be hard for him to see your faces when all of this went down?" asked Brianna "Well ya but who knows, all we can do is hope that he didn't," I reassured her. "Next time you decide to do something that reckless and stupid invite me!" She, even in times of worry, always found a way to smile and make jokes "I still can't believe it. This situation sounds so unreal you say that this guy was on fire and not in pain, that Jaime was covered in a cloth that shattered away when you left, that both your charms started glowing." Brianna's words resonated within me for a second because at that time I realized that I have no idea how any of those things could happen. There was a knock at the door, Brianna's mom came into the room. "Jaime, it's getting late I'm going to drive you over to the boy's home." The boy's home I go to could care less about me but they always seem to want me back at the worst times. I got up and said my goodbyes to Brianna and Jack and we agreed to talk about this again soon.

On the ride home I looked at the school as I passed by (Brianna's house was close to the school)
the school was partially intact there were clear places that showed where the fire traveled. Two people had been severely injured and ten others had minor injuries. It was all so quick, a 10-
minute attack luckily no one died. I don't like anyone getting hurt but no one dying is as much as a positive we can get now. That kid was well a kid, yet he attacked a school, what drives someone to the point where human lives have lost their meaning.

The boy's home I go to is a mediocre place. The home provides the minimum care and effort to all the children there since they have so many. They don't care where I go usually. My neighbors look out for me more than the actual boy's home does. The few good things the boy's home does give me is food, water, and shelter and they gave me the choice to change schools. Once I arrived at the home, I took a nice, long, well-deserved nap to absorb what had all happened.

I had a very surreal and strange dream once I fell asleep. I dreamed of that moment when the ice formed and how I was covered in that cloth just then as I left the hole in the ice that was around me, I entered a new scene. I was in a void that I could only assume to be space then a bright light came from behind me: a comet glowing with a blue and white shimmer. As I follow it with my eyes, I see the earth come into view. The comet flies toward earth, then an explosion splits the comet in an instant and two pieces fly off in sperate directions. It lands in two places one in Mexico somewhere in a random mountain clearing and another somewhere in Canada in the northwest territories. Both comet's fragments are found by adults, but I can't make out their figure their covered in a shadow. The adults cradle the fragment in their arms I swear I blinked and the fragments were around the necks of a child in the form of a necklace another is fashioned into a ring. I hear a rumbling, a distant roar of the cosmos as I turn around to face eight comets hurtling toward earth. Then the entire world lights up eight different comets all splitting midair right over Earth, they split into two fragments, sixteen fragments in total. Suddenly a fragment in Wisconsin lights up and a shadowy figure gives a child a necklace. It's Jack. A bright figure appears in California a scorching trial left behind him. It's the reaper. It is clear to me that this dream isn't really a dream, this isn't a figment of my imagination, these are visions of the past, a relay. These are all some sort of message but if I'm the receiver who's the sender? The map with all the lights gets brighter as the light intensifies a voice comes through but I can't understand it. It speaks in a foreign language. The dream was so new and beautiful it was a stark contrast to what would happen next. I woke up to the smell of smoke coming from outside my room.
