There is one thing
in this world
that nobody can fake
There is one thing
in this world
that nobody can make
We can only feel
It is also a feeling
which nobody can steal
Though we cannot see it
But it is real
It is happiness!
But what is real happiness?
Is it having money and being rich or
eating a cold ice cream from our fridge? (^_^)
Is it hanging out with a girl or
mining, and finding out a precious pearl?
Is it getting good marks in exams or
dancing on some TV programmes?
Is it chatting with someone you never met or
or walking along with your best friend, when it is raining and being wet?
Is it watching a favourite program on TV or
driving fast at night and being carefree?
Well these things occur in our life..
which we don't control..
But what we can do is..
We can choose to be happy
The secret of happiness is
within ourselves,
because if we choose
to be happy, we are
and that is what makes the difference
Happiness does not depend
upon what happens outside
but what happenes inside of us..
Because someday we will look back
and understand why it happened :) !!
Hello everyone!! :)..Back with a new poem!! Well I wasn't gonna write a poem on this topic, but it inspired me to.. It was a one day trip, I had with my relatives to a nearby village. It was like 2'o clock or something like that. We were having lunch between the trees as we had a shade there, and I had this little, cute brother who was asking questions frequently. He asked me," Are you happy, bhaiya (brother) in your life ?". Well I replied," Yes ". He again asked," Why?". I said," Because I live in present moment and live life to the fullest ". He pointed towards a beggar and asked," Why isn't he happy? He can also live life to the fullest, so why isn't he? ". I was perplexed. I wonder what was true happiness, was it depending upon events which happen outside of our body or is there something inside us?? U may get answer in the above context..
