Sakura's Story

Kingdom 2: Sakura's Story

"Marriage!!??" Sakura yelled, she stood before her father in the royal throne room "i...i do not wish to marry, and to the prince of the land of fire??? Father please you've heard of the awful things they have done why would you want our kingdom to have any relations with those....those....those b...barbarian!?" She yelled holding onto her father's hands

"please if I have done something wrong I'll make up for it but please don't give me away to those monsters"

The king looked at his beautiful daughter as her emerald eyes were shut away from him as she cried "please I'll be good just don't give me away" the words she spoke were like knives being thrown at his heart. He loved his daughter but he had no other choice. "Sakura" he began "you are the most beautiful and sacred thing the land of cherry blossoms has and you also are the only thing that has kept me alive for this long. When you mother die I thought I had nothing more to live for, I was ready to give up being king and give away my throne but than the midwife walked out with you in her arms and you gave me life again, you gave me a reason to live and thanks to you I have been a great and honorable king. But I'm getting old and I need to make sure you'll have a good future and a good husband....."

"Than why give me to them?" She cut him off "if you want me to have a good life and husband why give me to them. Is it for the land? Resource? Do we not have enough medicine for our people?" She asked but he just turned away.

"I'm sorry Sakura but it's already done" the king said as he walked away releasing the princess hands. She stood there alone in the throne room her tears stained her cheeks as she cry.

The king was on his way back to his sleeping Chambers when he was Stopped by the princess's of the land of waterfalls and sand "My Lord" they both bowed before the king and he to bowed before them "would you happen to know where Princess Sakura is My lord?" One asked the king. "Lady Temari, Lady Hinata......" the king pause before turning to looking back at the doors to the throne room. "You both have been Sakura's very good friends" he turn to look back at the princesses. "She's in the throne room, Please go to her" he said before walking past them.

Hinata and temari looked at each other than back to the king before running to the throne room. They stoped before the doors to order the guards to open it, once opened they ran in to find Sakura on the floor, her hand coving her face.

"Sakura!" They both yelled as they ran to her side. "What happened?. Are you ok?" Hinata asked as she kneeled down next to Sakura, placing her arm around her friend in an attempt to Comfort her.

"Sakura what is it? You know you can tell us anything" Temari said standing over the two. Watching as Sakura finally stoped crying and looked up at the two.

"My father... is giving me away" was all she said before braking into tears all over again. Temari and Hinata looked at each other before turning back at Sakura.

"Sakura you do know the only thing kings can give away is livestock right?" Temari said and Hinata glared at her.

"Sakura what do you mean give away?" Hinata asked in a kinder voice still rubbing her friend back.

Sakura wiped away her tears before looking back up at her friends, taking a deep breath she spoke "I am to marry the prince....to the land of fire" Hinata let out a gasp and Temari just turned away.

"Maybe he's nothing like his father. He might be kind and.... and I don't know temari say something" Hinata looked over to temari trying to get help in comforting their friend.

"You want me to say something? Well I can't because I'm no good at conforming people, all I can say is that I'm sorry" with that said she walked out of the throne room leaving Hinata and Sakura alone.

Hey guys ok I'm sorry I know I said I would update in a couple of days after posting the first part but with Christmas and New Years is my daughter birthday so I'm busy. But the story continues and I'll try to update as soon as possible and hope you all had a good Christmas. Leave your comments below and vote plz
