Sorry I'm Late

Two years past since the last ninja war, everything was at peace. Everyone was happy, the great nation were in allies, so this world was truly at peace.

Ino: "Happy Birthday Sakura" Ino yelled running after her long childhood friend

Shikamaru:"Ino it's too early in the morning for you to be yelling like this"

Ino: "shut up its Sakura birthday today and she hasn't been her self since Sasuke left on his mission with Naruto"

Shikamaru: "aww man I swear This is so troublesome, Sasuke won't be gone for that long it's a simple mission"

Ino: "yes but he promised her to be here for her birthday and he's not"

Sakura: "it's ok I'm not really upset about it" she said walking up to her two friend with a smile on her face

Ino: "Sakura I'm dating Sai I know a fake smile when I see one" she said grabbing Sakura but the shoulders "anyway how about we calibrate your birthday, only us girl since Temari is coming"

Sakura: "that sounds nice I would really enjoy it" Sakura said to Ino than looked at Shikamaru as he cleared his throat

Shikamaru: "I'm sorry but I don't think Temari can make it to your party Ino and Sakura I have plans with Temari today"

Ino: Well I doubt that. By the look on her face and where you are now I say you forgot to pick her up at the gates again Shikamaru" Ino said with a smirk as she hinted Shikamaru to turn

Shikamaru: "wait what" *turns around* "shit ....ah damn Temari what the hell" he yelled as Temari hit him over the head with her fan and she was mad

Temari: "you left me at the gate waiting"

Ino: "what a bad boyfriend Shikamaru shame on you" Ino said pushing him out of the way "hey Temari it's Saskura's birthday today and we're having a party you wanna come with us only us girls"

Temari: really I'm sorry I didn't know it was your birthday Saskura.. Happy birthday. And I would love to come" she turned to Shikamaru and glared at him "is that a problem"

Shikamaru: "no it's fine" he said extending his hand so she could take it and walking away with her. Fingers wrapped with oone another's.

Ino: ok so I'm going to get everything for the party and you forehead better be ready by 8 ok bye" *Ino ran off*

Saskura: "well I guess I need to go buy a dress to wear" she headed down to the shopping District for a dress. Trying on almost everything in the shop she finally found the one "would Sasuke like this one?" she asked herself and smile "yes he would love it" walking over to the register so she can pay for the dress and walked out.  Looking up she notices how much time she spends looking for a dress to wear and that she was hungry. Making her way back to her apartment she stop by  ichiraku ramen for something to eat and saw Hinata sitting in the ramen shop decided to sit next to her "hey Hinata you coming to my party later" she ask every excited about the party she wanted to get Sasuke out of her mind it was her day so she was going to live it up. Hinata didn't say a word and just nodded her head smiling at the bowl of ramen in front of her "don't worry I miss Sasuke too Hinata" looking up at her Hinata smiled and gave Sakura a hug.  jumping out of her chair she waved good bye and left. And Sakura too waved goodbye to her friend.
Once done at ichiraku Sakura went straight  home and began to get ready for her party. There was a knock on the door going down the stairs she opened the door to see Temari and Tenten with a letter from Ino.

Temari: hey I'm sorry but I can't make it me and Shikamaru want to finish our peeper work before we go home and there's a lot I'm sorry Sakura" Temari said with a apologetic look.
