What is #MenOfColor?
#MenOfColor is a campaign in support of non-white male leads. Now, you may be asking why is it that we're supporting "Men of Color" but not all men? Now the answer for that is actually quite simple... It's not that we don't care about all kinds of men, it's just that men of color (or non-white men) are typically never the lead in books, in fact they're usually the stereotyped token character there for the white lead's and the reader's amusement.
And enough is enough.
It's time for representation for the underrepresented, it's time for an accurate display of MoC, because whether you believe it or not they're humans just like everyone else.
How Can I Join the Campaign as a Supporter?
