Chapter 9 (The She wolf... and Rhino)

I AM ABSOLUTLY POSITIVLY SOOOO SORRY THIS IS SO BAD. AND AFTER SUCH A LONG TIME... My laptop is my schools and they wouldn't give it back during christmas vacation... I'm a horrible person... IM SO SORRY! AND THIS CHAPTER IS SO SHORT!

As soon as our hug fest was over, we began to make a plan.

" Okay," I started, " first, whatta we got hea?" I asked, trying to do my best impression of a Brooklyn accent. It worked. Everyone laughed. I smiled and pointed at Aurora. "Okay, whatcha got?"

Aurora stood up, for we had all sat down into the floor, Jallisons head in may lap so I could play with his hair and butterfly. Right before our eyes, her entire form began to shake. Unlike in all the movies, she did not turn into a big blob. Her waist snapped down into her verticle position. The usual hairs covering her skin began to grow out in the color of her hair. The color I assume it would normally look like if it was clean and polished, was the darkest, bloodiest red I've ever seen. She now officially, looked demented with her shins breaking and forming wolves knees. Her back became more arched and her fingers shrunk back into her hand in a discusting crack!. She pressed her "fingers" together and when she pulled them away, they were webbed. Her eyes were not pained, but elated. The hair grew from her pores, as a snout appeared from her nose and mouth being compressed together, then pushed outward. I could even watch as her bone structures change under her skin and her furry ears slid up her head. As I now looked, I saw a fully grow, blood red wolf stairing in front of me. When she opened her mouth, fully formed canines stared at me straite in the face. Once I looked past them though, I saw she was smiling. She pranced around the room, stopping to "pose" for us momentarily, then dancing around on four legs, spinning and jumping around the enitre room, finally landing on the bed, on top of all the pillows, shredding one causing it to fluff on us all.

We began to cackle and she let out a small howl. I looked around at us and saw Sylvia staring at Aurora with awe across her face.

"Ohmigosh..." She said, " You have more power than normal... what else can you change into?"

Aurora just looked at her in confusion. " Nothing... but I haven't tried either..."  Have I ever mentioned how weird it is to see a wolf talk to you in a voice that you heard just a few minutes ago from a pretty red head? Creepy right?

"Well... then try to turn into..." I tried to think of a ridiculous animal for her to change into, but Seana beat me to it.

" A rhino!" She squealed and even as a wolf, I saw the digcust in Auroras eyes.

"A rhino? Realllly?" She whined, but as I watched her eyes begin to concentrate, I saw her snout bone strike against the skin, adding pressure until a huge horn shot out. At the same time, all the hair shot back into her skin and, speaking of skin, it was becomming very, very stretchy, for the muscle and fat was now pushing against it, making it stretch out. Her old (now bare) paws were weaving together to become two "toes". At this point, Aurora collapsed onto the floor, stuck in a weird half rhino half wolf scenario. Her furry ears were still placed upon her giant rhinos head, her canines and horn were of a rhinos too, I could see them since she was panting. There were patches of red fur across her body, like her feet, while others were completly bare, like her legs. The weirdest thing was her tail. It was furry all the way down until teh end, where it was black like a real hippos.

In all, just an average mutation.

"Wow." Seanas small voice came from behind me. "That's amazing..."

"What?" Sylvia, Aurora and I asked.

" Shes only supposed to have one form... one she can ONLY change into." Jallison answered for us. I gasped. Really? That's incredible.

Sylvia grinned at Seana. "Shall we finally tell them of our conclusion?" I was confused, so I looked with my mind to see what they were thinking of, but Seana was blocking me. She was blocking me? She never blocks me!

Seana smiled apoligelicly at me, "I couldn't have you ruining the surprise."

" We're all from the prophecy." Sylvia answered to us all. Jallison sat up, putting his hand in mine.

"All of us?" He asked, "Even me?"

"Yup," she answered, but this time grimly. "Salz is going to be ripped in half by you."

" Wait... that would mean..." I couldn't finish. It was just so imposible. I couldn' be HER. The girl that was ripped in half by love... that would make sense because I was a natural born Swift... I have learned some other of the Gifts... Oh God, it is me.

"Waiit, if that girl is me then..." I gasped, " The masters of the other gifts must be you!!! It makes perfect sense! Seana, you are the master block, Aurora, master shifter, Sylvia, master Seer, Jallison... what can you do?"

" I can control the fire element." He said.

" How good? Light, Lava, or Fire."

" All of the above... plus one thing." And with that, he yelled a name with the top of his lungs.

"Ralfatouf!"

And, from our the window, a big puff of fire and smoke. A word came to my mind. dragon...
