I swore under my breath, an you know that makes it serious because I don't swear often.

I saw Jallison move forward to help me, but the archer stiffened and Jallison froze. I didn't have to read minds to know what he was implying.

You move, I'll shoot her.

Jallison put his hands up and, unwillingly, slowly moved backwards to Sylvia, Seana, and Aurora. All the while the archer was watching them over my shoulder, I was analysing a plan.

The archer seemed young. Maybe a year or two older than me, yet the muscles in his arms and the slight stubble on his chin sugested otherwise. I knew he couldn't hold that arrow knocked forever, and I didn't want to find out if he chose to let the arrow go or just drop the bow. He was just about my height The man had a black cloth over his nose, just under his grey eyes and had a black bandana over his hair. Now that I'm thinking about it, thats all he's wearing. Black.

An assasin. I heard from Sylvia. An assasin for who? Me? I cut my eyes to Jallsion. No...

"No..." I said outloud, an inner anger started from my center and escaladed down my body. "NO... You are NOT going to hurt my family..." My only family was being threatened and I couldn't stand it. I started to see red and my hands shook, " NO ONE is going to hurt MY FAMILY..." I felt my anger reach my butterfly, and then I just lost it. I ran at the man, his eyes already wide with awe and fear. I ducked under the arrow and tackled him around the waist, tilting his arm up incase he tried to shoot at Sylvia, Seana, Aurora or Jallison behind me, pointing the arrow at the ceiling. I heard the ziiiiiing. Of him releasing it, and then the Thwack! Of it hitting the ceiling.

We landed hard on the ground, somehow me on bottom, and all the air in my lungs flew out of my mouth in one big woosh.

I quickly wrapped my legs under his ribs and squeezed, while taking my forearm under his neck and pulling up. He lost all his air and my arm prevented any more from comming in. He rolled over, but I held on and ended up on his back with him bucking like bull on his hands and knees. I yanked my arm up, cracking his teeth together, and he let out a yell. I'm guessing I just broke a few. I quickly went to put more and more weight on his back, making him arch under my weight.

I was about to throw him down, when he grabbed the my arm under his neck and flipped me off towards the hole I made in the ground. My heart beated strong as I dragged along teh floor closer and closer to the hole. I looked to see him drag another arrow into place and knock it back into place. This guy was a profecional and was about to shoot when time slowed down. Jallsion was ushering the girls into the bathroom, getting in the arrows view, I turned my head to see the archer taking aim. I quickly ran to my feet and sprinted in the way of the arrow as he was releasing it. It flew in slow motion as I sprinted towards Jallison. I jumped in the air and fell to the ground in one swift motion as time came back into reality. I turned to see the archer staring at me in disbelief and as her turned to run, I heard Sylvia and Aurora scream together,

"HE CAN'T ESCAPE!" In the most panicked tone I've ever heard. I imedietly started after him and slid the knife out of the holder along his belt. I put it around his neck and backed him back into Jallisons room. Then I punched him in the temple, knocking him out, and let him drop to the floor.

The reddness I had been seeing was dissapearing quick, being replaced by black. I was having tunnel vision and turned to yell for Seana but they were already there, standing over me.

Whoa... how did I get on my back? And what hurts so bad? Were my last thoughts before I passed-out

I came to when I heard shouting and banging. I opened my eyes to see I was in a bathtub with  Seana, Sylvia, and Aurora. Everyone was pretty dang fuzzy and I was having a difficult time seeing. I quickly sat up and clutched my shoulder.

Jallison was leaning against the door, clenching his teeth as the door banged over and over.

Someones trying to break in... I thought. I stood up out of the bathtub, and looked in the mirror at my aching shoulder.

There was an arrow sticking out from it.

Damn.

I quickly went to Aurora and looked her in the eye, hoping she knows what shes doing because Jallison needed help, and I couldn't help him with an arrow in my shoulder.

"Break it in half. Do it quickly and straight down so it doesn't splinter" She winced at the task, but didn't talk back.

I put my hands on the sink table and felt the break only slightly in my shoulder. It was enough though. I hissed and small tears slid down my face.

"I was expecting way worse," I said to her, "Thanks"

"No problem, I am the "docter" at the-"  BANG!!! The door banged open and Jallison flew to the window, breaking the glass and cutting his hand. He began to bleed heavily and clutched his hand to his chest. Julius flew into the room, knocking Aurora back into the bathtub, pinning Seana and Sylvia underneath her. Now he was right in front of me. He grabbed my hair and dragged me back into the main room, locking the others in the bathroom. I fell onto my face, and felt him stand on the nub of the arrow in my right shoulder. I screamed in agony, feeling it move across my back and inside me, poking and scraping my insides.

My shoulder couldn't stand it anymore, I rolled and Julius fell on the ground next to me. I needed to get the others out now, and FAST.

Aurora! Turn into something that can fly! GET THEM OUT. I thought to her as fast as I could, but Julius caught on and turned toward the door. I grabbed his ankle and he tried to kick me with the other foot, but I pulled on the foot I had and he fell.

HURRY! I stressed to Aurora, knowing I couldn't let him get to them. I had to protect my family.

Julius went to stand but I was already up and went to get him back down, but he just fell on my and pinned me. He banged my head over, and over again on the floor until I was almost out. I went limp and he stood, shaking his head at me, and opening the door.

And thats where I blacked out.
