7. The Hospital Wing

I open my eyes but get blinded by the lights of the hospital wing. Ever since I was a kid, I've been afraid of hospitals. I get up and look at my appearance (picture above^). Madam Pomfrey comes over as I'm pulling my boots on." You can't leave yet." She said with a disapproving tone in her voice.

"Oh yeah? Watch me." I get up and walk out of the door and to the tower to sleep." Bladerdash," I mutter and the portrait opens with some grumbling from the fat lady. I walk briskly to my dorm and flop on my bed." Where have you been?" Asked Lily who came out of the bathroom." The hospital wing," I shrug. 

" What?! Why?" Lily asks sitting on my bed." James was going to hex Snape so I jumped in front of him. James and Sirius shouldn't bully him. It's not like he did anything to them." I said finding a chocolate frog and eating it." Finally! Someone who understands!" Lily exclaims and I giggle." They probably do it because you hate James' guts and that you hang out with Snape more than him."

I see a faint tint of red on her porcelain cheeks and I smirk." Moving on, what day is it?" 

" It's Sunday, why?" Lily looks at me confused." Shittt, I've been out for three days!" I eat another chocolate frog and run a hand through my hair." What's wrong about being out for a couple days?" Lily asks.

" We had Quidditch practice yesterday and I missed it!" Lily gives me a kinda-dirty look." Seriously? You all always worry about Quidditch!" 

" Yeah, it's a good sport. Now, if you excuse me, I am starving." I say and get up and walk out of the dorm and through the common room to the kitchens.

I tickle the pear and walk in with house elves surrounding me." What can we get you miss?" My main hose elf, Scarlett, squeaks." Can I get my usual?" I ask politely." Yes miss!" Scarlett runs off to get me my milkshake and fry. 

The portrait opens and I see Briana walk in." Kira I missed ya!" She said hugging me. I hug her back and she lets go after a few seconds." So how have you been?" Bri asked me as Scarlett rushed up with my milkshake and fries." Thank you," I say to her before turning to Bri." Eh, if you count being hexed and sent to the hospital wing for a few days fine, then I'm fine." I say taking a sip out of my milkshake.

" What? Who did that to you?" She asks shocked." I didn't see the face." I lie looking at my fries not feeling hungry anymore." You're lying." She narrows her eyes." Fine, I did see the face."

" Well?" She looks at me expectantly." Well what?" I ask looking sideways at her." Can you tell me who did it?" I take notice of my hands shaking and suddenly find my shoes pretty interesting." I don't want to say," I say quietly and it becomes quiet.

" It's fine you don't want to tell me, it's fine." Bri says even though both of us know that she wants to know. 

I finish my food and Scarlett takes my trash away. I stand and Bri looks at me." Can you tell me?" Bri says with a pouty face." Fine!" I groan," It was James." I say and quickly leave basically sprinting to my dorm.

 I was going to publish this earlier, but I went to my friend's horse show and I got badly sun burned now making my face, legs, neck, and fore arms red. Because life likes dicking with you.
