I wake up and realize that today is a- Saturday and b- Gryffindor vs. Slytherin match. I get up, jump in the shower, dry my hair with the best spell ever (and that's coming from someone who loves their beauty spells). Putting my hair up in a ponytail (attempt one), the fricken hair tie snaps on me (like Snapple!) I growl and grab another one and put my hair in a bun. I use my meta-powers to make my hair a vibrant teal color.
Getting in my quidditch robes, I place my wand in my boot securing it and making sure that it doesn't fall out. I walk down the dorm stairs and get into the common room. Checking the clock on the wall, I see that it's 7:04 am. I go up the boys' dorm stairs and back into the Marauders' dorm slowly." I hope you know that today's a quidditch match against Slytherin." I say and hear covers get thrown and James falling on the floor.
" Seriously James? You just had to fall off your bed?" I ask with amusement." Very Siriusly," I hear James reply dryly. I roll my eyes and walk forward,"Be down in five minutes. Eat breakfast. Destroy some Slytherin ass." I tell them and walk out going to the great hall. I get there and practically no one is there, not even the teachers. I smirk, setting up a prank quickly for the teachers that when they sit down, gold and scarlet hair dye rain down on them.
I set up the traps and sit down. James and his gang come in and I look at them and suddenly don't feel very hungry. For the next five minutes, I pick at my food and Remus notices." Kira, why're you picking at your food?"
" Because I can and will." I snap and the Marauders raise their eyebrows." What?" I snap looking at them." Nothing." They say quickly and I glare at all of them." I'm going to the pitch." I say and get up." I don't fucking care!" I storm out and go into the girl's changing room, which is kind of like a sanctuary for me, since I'm the only girl on the team.
Sitting farthest away from the door, I place my head in my hands.' How do I deal with all these guys?' I think to myself and then I hear a knock on the door." Kira? We're going to be going out on the pitch soon." I hear James call and I say a muffled," Okay." I get up, look in the mirror and see that huge bun on my head,' You know what? No long hair today.' I do a pixie cut that I've seen in muggle magazines and keep it teal.
I walk out of my changing room and look at all the boys." Hey, fellas. Either one of you know where the Smithsonian is? I'm here to pick up a fossil." I say looking at them with a trace of a smirk on my lips." Haha, very funny." James replies sarcastically." Wha?? You used sarcasm on me?" I say mockingly offended.
" Yeah, what are you going to do about it?" James says tauntingly. I step up to him and look him in the eye. I realize that I'm looking up at his 6'3 frame and I turn away.
" You win, this time." I say and we line up to go on the pitch. Since I'm a chaser, I line up with my two partners in crime, as I say. The thing that is running through my head is,' I really need to shit.'
" And here comes the Gryffindor Quidditch team!" Jordan yells over the magical speaker." Captain is James Potter, who is also a chaser; then we have the all-so fabulous Kira Potter, playing in the chaser position with the brilliant Leon Henderson; next we have beater Sirius Black (cue screams for that man-whore) and Patrick Lester; Damien Fox as seeker; and last but not least Josh Wood as keeper."
We walk out to the three houses cheering and one booing (you should know who is booing) with our brooms in hand. I march to my position and wait for the Slytherin team to come out." And here comes the Slytherin team!" Jordan yells and Gryffindor boos were heard along with cheers." Here comes the captain, John Valentine who is seeker; next is Richard Sheets, Julius Garcia, and Salvatore Stover as the chasers; Ryan Raham, and Daniel Larson as beaters; and last but not least Kendall Moeller as keeper. Now let the games begin and may the odds be ever in your favor."
Getting the reference, I smile up at him and get positioned on my broom as James and Valentine shake hands.
