One Last Time

Chapter Three - Busy Bee

7:45 AM. I wake up, and I groan.

I say in my head, "I guess I partied to much last night."

I roll over, and open my eyes. Vanessa is next to me.

She is up already, and looking at me with a smile on her face.

"Good morning, sleepy head.", she says as she smiles even more.

I say back, "Good morning." My voice is groggily and tired.

Vanessa chuckles a bit.

I roll my eyes. I know she likes the sleepy version of me, because she gets to tease me then.

We give each other a quick kiss, and I get out of bed.

As I leave the room Vanessa says, "I saved some coffee in the coffee pot for you."

I sigh and say, "Thank you, honey."

I'm glad I don't have to walk to the café, and now I have a little more time on my hands.

It's a two day show, and I'm performing in both of them.

I leave the bedroom, and I go through my daily routine.

Sebastian is up. He is playing with his toys.

I give him a kiss on the head before I walk out.

"Bye Seb! Have a good day!", I say to him as I go out the door.

I leave the apartment.

I walk to the newspaper stand, and grab a newspaper.

I look down at my watch. I'm running a bit late.

I hurry to the theater, and take a quick picture with a fan.

I walk into the theater, and greet everyone I pass.

Alex comes up to me and says, "Hey man! You look tired!" He laughs a bit and continues, "Did you party too hard last night?"

"Nah, it's still 8:30 in the morning. You know me, I don't officially wake up until 10:00.", I joke.

We hug and laugh.

I then proceed on walking through the hallway to my dressing room.

Jon is already there.

"Groffsauce! What's up? Why are you here so early?", I say curiously, but excitedly.

"Just wanted to come early to wake up. I had a hard time getting out of bed.", he replies.

I laugh and say, "I think everyone had a hard time waking up this morning."

"True that!", he says.

He walks out to go get some water in the front.

I tweet my usual 'Gmorning' tweet, and start getting warmed up and ready for the show.

We did alright considering it was a matinee.
